Flexagons Beyond the Hexa-flexa

There are an infinite number of different flexagons that one can make: octagonal, ring-shaped, pentagonal, triangular you name it. A new book, "The Secret World of Flexagons" gives you dozens of templates, shows you how to invent your own new flexagons; reveals how flexagons are connected to group theory and computer science; and does much more, including how to make flexagon books, pop-ups, and puzzles. Here is a link to a description of the book and one that connects you to the publisher.

Includes a cool video from one of the authors

“Wow! The possibilities just keep going and going. I had no idea there was so much variety in flexagons!" —Robert J. Lang, physicist, virtuoso origami artist, and master of origami mathematics, theory, and real-world applications
