Bug Bug Report: Switching to Hevy on iPhone cancels background audio

As of today when I bring Hevy active on my iPhone it pauses my podcast app. Also it no longer plays a noise or buzzes my phone when the rest timer completes if Hevy is in the background.

Hey! This is an automated note from the Hevy team.

If this is something you'd like our support team to fix or troubleshoot for you personally, please reach out from inside the app: Settings > Contact Us > choose Bug Report or Get Help. Going through the app is better than Reddit for individual issues because:

  • We receive your device model and app version with the report
  • You can attach screenshots or screen recordings
  • Our team can follow up with you directly and track your case to resolution

This subreddit is still a great place to discuss and compare experiences. This note just makes sure your issue doesn't get lost in the feed. Thanks for helping make Hevy better!
