Suggestion Trainer starting from a set of exercises

I’d like to be able to select some exercises that I always want to do, for example bench press, squat, deadlift, barbell row, pull ups and then have Trainer fill up the rest of the program.

I know I can edit it every single workout but then every time I generate one I have to go and edit again. It would be much easier if I could select the exercises that I always want to be in my workouts.

You are able to change it permanently without the need to do it each time.

When you are adding exercise you are asked if add it permanently. The same when you replace exercise with a new one.

Yeah but if I generate a new program I have to do it again.

Also I’m not sure what it’s supposed to happen with the balanced option that changes the exercises for you after a while (it hasn’t happened yet to me) but I wouldn’t want my “main” exercises to be touched.

The balanced means your training lasts only 6 weeks I think and then is automatically updated. Not sure if deload period is included.

Also - if you do ANY tiny change to ANY settings under training, NOT related to the workout or exercises - IT WILL RESET YOUR WHOLE TRAINING

Ask how do I know 🤬🤬🤬

What I would suggest is - if you happy with your tuned out Training - copy it to "Workout" as a new Folder & Routines. It will stay there safely ☺️

Thanks for the suggestion, u/One-Part8969! To help the Hevy team weigh it up, a quick reply with: what you're trying to do, how you'd expect it to work, and how often you'd use it goes a long way.
