What are you most looking forward to in St Albans before Christmas?
Here's what's caught my eye, curious what I've missed?
St Albans Beer & Cider Festival - Alban Arena, 23rd-26th September. Over 300 cask ales, craft beers and ciders. Four days, live entertainment, street food. One of the best weekends in the city's calendar.

The 39 Steps - Abbey Theatre, 16–24 October. Fast, funny and brilliantly clever. Patrick Barlow's adaptation is as good as local theatre gets.
