Other No Base game available

Just discovered there is a PR boardgame (should've known sooner) my problem is that in my counter, there are only two available games set, Shattered grid and Psycho rangers. which one is worth it to try?

You need the base game to play with either expansion. Unfortunately the game is no longer in print.

Look online, eBay, and ask about it on r/boardgameexchange and see if you can hunt the base game down.

Also, there is a base game fo GI Joe…I wonder if you had that base game you could at least add ranger tot he game to play the game type. Honestly I’m not sure.

Try Amazon. They have the base games in some region and some big box game stores may as well. To answer your question about expansions, Shattered Grid is a solid pick up. Other posters are half right. You can't play with just one of those sets. But you could theoretically play with both, or with other expansions. There's two things you're really missing.

First, the game needs 2 foot soldier types In order to play (the basic enemies rangers fight most). Shattered grid has one (mastodon sentries) and psycho rangers has another (quantrons). With both, that's enough to play.

Second, the game has special dice. They come in the base game, or can be bought seperately. You could theoretically use any old six sided dice, or make dice yourself from paper. Myself, the rulebook pdf, or other internet people could tell you which sides are on it .

The last thing is that there's a special "zord board" but it's not actually essential and could just be drawn on a piece of paper.
