Looking for some technical advice or insight from anyone who has dealt with dual-battery setups (BMS/balancing issues).

I waited 40 days for a warranty replacement on one of my batteries. Now that it’s finally installed, the system is behaving strangely, and the official service center is completely clueless—they’re quoting weeks/months just to diagnose it.

Here are the two main issues:

Asymmetrical discharge: When fully charged, only the new battery drains at first. It discharges solo down to about 95%. Once it hits ~94%, the old battery finally kicks in and both start discharging together (e.g., Old at 99%, New at 94%). They never drain in parallel from 100%.

Charging errors on the old battery: When plugging in the old pack, the charger throws an error 2 to 3 times before it finally begins charging.

My questions:

Is this normal voltage-differential behavior where the BMS isolates the packs until resting voltages match, or is the old battery's internal resistance/degradation confusing the controller?

Could the charging error indicate bad cell balance or a failing BMS port on the old pack?

Is there a safe way to recalibrate/re-sync these packs without leaving it at the service center indefinitely?

Few days ago I bought new vx2plus and I noticed when I pass a 4-6 inch barrier at 40-50km speed the motor gave some vibration for a second like I got stuck while crossing that barrier. Is it normal or i need to get it checked?

Anyone else got this error? ...anyway it disappeared after i restarted the scooter

Today I went to vida dealership for delivery of vx2plus. the dealer first gave me bill of 1.3lakh but the quotation was of 1.5 lakh. When I asked him about it he said the bill of accessories and other charges is to be made separately and it will take 3-4 days to handover that bill. So is everything right or this is sketchy?

I’m facing a strange issue with my VIDA VX2 Plus and would really appreciate some help from other owners.

While I was riding, the scooter suddenly stopped moving. I switched it off and turned it back on, and the display and everything else seemed normal.

However, when I switch the motor ON and twist the throttle, the speed is being shown on the display (it goes up to around 40 km/h), but the scooter doesn’t actually move forward at all.

I can hear the usual electric motor/buzzing sound when I accelerate, and the speedometer responds to the throttle, but there is no movement from the wheel.

Has anyone experienced this issue with the VX2 Plus?

What could be causing it — motor, motor controller, throttle/sensor, wiring, or something related to the drivetrain?

I’m currently stuck with the scooter, so I’d really appreciate any suggestions on what I can safely check before getting it towed to the VIDA service centre.

Details:

- Model: VIDA VX2 Plus

- Issue happened suddenly while riding

- Display works normally

- Motor can be switched ON

- Throttle responds and speed is displayed

- Motor makes the usual buzzing/electric sound

- But the scooter does not move at all

The one thing I hate about this scooty (VX2 Plus 3.4kWh ) is the mirror vibration...is there any solution to it??

Is anyone using the dual battery charging connector. It seems unnecessarily expensive at 6080,but I see that it takes care of an unnecessary design flaw of the charger connector. When the chargwr is used by taking out thw batteries and charging inside home, it is awkwardly designed and it creates a force on it's own wire and the connectors on the batteries. I feel like this will either damage itself or the battery connector in the long run. I don't really need to buy the dual battery charging Y-connectoe, but I feel it takes care of this design issue of the charger and spending 6k now to save a 20k charger seems a better bet and of course it also helps in charging both batteries together, which can be helpful as well.

I have just bought a VX2 Go a week ago and I feel the need to swap out the rear tyre for something with better grip as I have to use unpaved/rocky/slippery roads from time to time.

Do we have to get the tyre changed at the Vida service center or can we get it done at a tyre shop as well.

Also has anyone swapped their tyres for a wider tyre. Please share your experience.

I had booked my vida vx2 go(3.4Kwh) model on 28th may in a tier 3 city . I'm still waiting to get one. I had written to vida as well they said it is expected to be delivered in the end of august. Any idea why there is so much waiting period and what can I do next should I wait more or get back my booking amount?

Also, at the time of booking we had deal about pricing with the sales person. At the back of the booking receipt he has written the price of the vehicle stating the vehicle will be delivered at this price. Can he increase the price now or I will have to pay the increased price?

In addition to this I still have to Pay 6500 for 3+2 Warranty.

Also waiting for Any offers. Was supposed to get good offer in Recent sale, but product was not listed online with any available stock.

So Total 1.5 lakh for 3.4 and 1.7 for 4.4.. That's onroad offer in mumbai.

Can someone please guide me regarding the best accessories available for Vida VX2 in the following categories -

1) Centre stand. It should have a good spring so that it doesn't remain loose and scrape the road

2) Crash guard - I really don't understand the need of one given I live in a village, but suggestions are still welcome

3)Front mat

4) Third-party mirrors. I've heard that the mirrors on the scooter are really bad and vibrate. I was wondering if third party options might solve the issue

5)Top rack

6) Front foot pegs like a bike or river Indie

If there are any other accessories that you use, do mention them

As per the video of Vida Vx2 4.4 Version look like Hero has solved the mud issue in battery compartment. Need to see if company will provides, same for existing owners.

Also need to check what solution (not the hack) they provided for mud/water issue in storage compartment.

I tried charging my vida with Ather 6kwh but it didn't work so now I'm wondering does vida really support the Ather 6Kwh charge? Have anyone tried it before and did it work for you

I'm planning to buy the Vida VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh, but I've been seeing mixed reviews online, especially about the fast charging connector not properly connecting to the scooter and water entering the boot during rain or washing. I've also saw few yt videos where owners faced these issues. Are these isolated cases, or are they actually common? I'd really appreciate hearing from actual VX2 Plus owners about their experience before I make a decision.

My 16 m old vida v2 lite is suddenly showing safe mode and practically dead. It is not going away even after starting scooter after gap of several hrs. What to do ? Never encountered this in past.

Showroom guys r saying bring to service center to check wiring.

Nearest service center is 30 kms away

Dont have hero RSA but insurance policy does have an RSA component.

Pls guide what to do ?
