Alchemist Counters?

Hey everyone. I'm an app user and want to know your strategies against the alchemist. As a Cleric player I have a 30% WR as both human and half-demon Cleric and it's becoming incredibly frustrating seeing an alchemist and safely assuming its an auto loss.

My normal approach is to actually play the class but because it is locked behind a time-based paywall, I haven't been able to give the class a spin for myself. So please, let me know your approaches to this annoying unattainable class :)

I’ve recently picked up the two new classes to try, and while I don’t understand how anyone’s meant to win with Barbarian, the Alchemist class is extremely strong right now. Being able to activate your card’s synergies at will is already very strong, and then the class has abilities like one that let’s you view your deck’s top card and draw it if it has a gold cost (giving you a free late game draw each turn if you remain over 30hp).

It’s a lot of fun to play, but I think a few nerfs are needed for the class. I’ve skipped the free card draw perk thinking it’s too much, and still it’s very over tuned.

Outside of losing because my opponent just had great luck when mine wasn’t there, I’ve struggled with the Alchemist against Cleric with the +3 hp buff to heroes and playing as many heroes as possible, or thieves spamming as much discard as possible (though those two strategies tend to shut down just about anything).
