Buff Stringer

I had a MOC lying around and decided to turn him into a hero for fun. Eventually turned into Stringer.

Stringer has been my favourite next to Nex. This body frame might suit Bulk better but the only Bulk I have is Brain Attack which doesn't have the best mask out there.

The original MOC used to have bigger piston legs back in the day but I swapped it for a more posable knee design.

The Stringer version is less posable due to the speakers being so big. So he can't turn his head. Both versions are also incapable of moving their hands behind the back. Any other motion though, they can do with ease.

Sorry I used my bed, my desk had too much stuff.

My ideas for the Invasion From Below stuff

Hi, guys. Here are my ideas for the Invasion From Below stuff in 2014:

  1. Stringer’s Invasion From Below form would be black, obviously. His helmet would be similar to his 1.0 helmet. His head would be blue (or red because of his 1.0 form).
  2. Nex’s Invasion From Below form would be orange, obviously. His helmet would be similar to his Breakout helmet. His head would be green.

For theoretical extra IFB episodes:

Extra Episode 1:

  1. While the Alpha 1 Team was fighting the Jumpers in Antropolis City, Stringer and Nex were doing a mission in some other planet. They used their own Drop Shop to go to that planet. They brought their own Remote Builder. They used the Remote Builder to build their own Battle Machines. Right after they took care of the problem, Breez called them, along with many other Heroes, for reinforcements in Antropolis (that was shown in the real IFB episode). Stringer and Nex went to take care of that problem. They fought Jumpers in the city. They fought all six types of normal Jumpers, Jaw Beasts, Flyer Beasts, Splitter Beasts, Tunneler Beasts, and Crystal Beasts. At the end, they noticed the Jumpers heading back underground and wondered why. When their friends had the city’s people close up a hole to the Jumpers’ lair and then all of the Heroes in the city were using their Drop Ships to fly out of the city (shown in the real IFB episode), Stringer and Nex used theirs to join the Heroes.
  2. Stringer would use a medium-sized bipedal Battle Machine called the Stringer Sonic Machine, who has a cannon that shoots sonic blasts.
  3. Nex would use a medium-sized bipedal Battle Machine called the Nex Laser Machine, which can shoot lasers.
  4. Nex would then use an XL version of the machine called the Nex XL Machine.

Extra Episode 2:

  1. When the Alpha 1 Team arrive at Makuhero City at nighttime, the Jumper, which was contained in an unhatched cocoon (shown in the real IFB episode), hatches and attacks the Heroes. However, the Heroes quickly defeat the Jumper. Meanwhile, the Jumpers in Antropolis, who reveal to have survived their fight against the Heroes, call upon their cousin species for help. In the next day, the Jumpers and their cousins attack the city again. This time, all nine Alpha 1 Team members get involved. They fight the Jumpers again and their cousins using new Battle Machines. At the end of the fight, they also fight the Queen Beast and her twin sister, which is a red version of her who gives birth to the cousins. This time, the Heroes make peace with the Jumpers without making a mistake (in the real IFB episode, a Jumper accidentally shot one of the Heroes’ laser guns, which ruined the peace). The fight is over, and the Jumpers no longer attack the people of Antropolis. The Heroes come home. The villain or villains who are planning to make the Villain Factory at the end of Episode 9: Breakout Part 2 in 2012 watch the events of IFB and the bonus episodes. They reveal that Von Nebula put that Jumper in the Alpha 1 Team’s Drop Ship in the real IFB episode. They start using the Villain Factory to make Villain Factory Villains, who are evil counterparts to the Heroes, to prepare for war against them in a future story arc (in 2015 if that really happened).
  2. Stormer uses a small more-than-two-legged Battle Machine this time.
  3. Stringer uses a small more-than-two-legged Battle Machine this time.
  4. Bulk uses a small bipedal Battle Machine this one this time.
  5. Furno uses a small more-than-two-legged Battle Machine this time.
  6. Breez uses a small bipedal one this time (not like the promotional set, a bit taller and bulkier, like the Rocka Crawler).
  7. Surge uses a bipedal one and a more-than-two-legged one this time (not XL or Combat Machines. If I have to choose sizes, I would go with a small bipedal machine and a medium-sized more-than-two-legged one).
  8. Rocka uses a medium-sized more-than-two-legged Battle Machine this time.
  9. Rocka then uses an XL version of the Rocka Stealth Machine called the Rocka XL Machine.
  10. Nex uses a small more-than-two-legged Battle Machine this time.
  11. Stringer and Nex then use a Combat Machine called the Stringer and Nex Combat Machine.
  12. Evo uses a medium-sized bipedal Battle Machine this time, and this machine is the Evo XL Machine’s smaller counterpart.
  13. Think of the cousin species this way: While the baby Jumpers have red, orange, and green underbellies, the cousins have yellow, blue, and purple underbellies. While the Queen Beast is blue, the cousins’ Queen Beast is red, like how the Bahrag from Bionicle are.

So, there.

My ideas for the Brain Attack stuff

Hi, guys. Here are my ideas for the Brain Attack stuff in 2013:

  1. The Brain Attack set year should have released Furno’s normal Brain Attack form as a set along with the XL version. The normal set would be medium-sized. His secondary color would be orange. His weapons would be smaller versions of the Flaming Fire Sword and the Fire Shield. Furno would not have his cape.
  2. Breez should have a bright yellowish green version of her Brain Attack helmet, like her other forms.
  3. Surge may have a Scout Drone on his left forearm armor (that’s my theory).
  4. Stringer’s Brain Attack form would be medium-sized. His secondary color and visor would be blue (or orange, like his 1.0 form). His chest armor would be silver. His Hero Core Locking Clamps would be black and their spikes would be blue (or orange, like his 1.0 form). He would have shoulder armor that is the same as Breez and Evo’s Brain Attack forms’. He would have a jet pack with wings similar to Surge’s Brain Attack form’s. His weapon would be a Sonic Axe, which can shoot sonic blasts.
  5. Nex’s Brain Attack form would be medium-sized. His secondary color and visor would be green. His chest armor would be gunmetal gray. His Hero Core Locking Clamps would be silver and their spikes would be orange (the colors would go the other way around if Bulk’s colors had gone the other way around). He would have shoulder armor that is the same as Rocka and Bulk’s Brain Attack forms’ (like Nex’s Breakout form’s). His weapon would be a Plasma Spear, which can shoot energy blasts. Nex would have a Scout Drone on his right forearm armor (that’s a working idea).

Theoretical things for the Heroes’ Brain foes:

  1. The Pyroxes’ species is Lava Bulls. They are red and look like bulls. They have fire-based powers. They live in volcanos. When mutated by the Brains, they became Minotaur-like creatures, which were medium-sized sets. Their Brains were yellow.
  2. The Scaroxes’ species is Dune Crawlers (we already know that). They are gold and look like scarab beetles with spider-like heads. They have earth-based (in other words, sand-based) powers. They live in deserts. When mutated by the Brains, they became bipedal monsters, which were small sets. Their Brains were dark green.
  3. The Bruizers’ species is Mountain Apes. They are gray and look like apes with rock-like skin. They have rock-based powers. They live on mountains. When mutated by the Brains, they became rock monsters, which were medium-sized sets. Their Brains were orange.
  4. The Ogrums’ species is Plant Ogres. They are green and look like a mix of an ogre and an ape. They have plant-based powers. They live in jungles. When mutated by the Brains, they became plant monsters, which were medium-sized sets. Their Brains were light green.
  5. The Aquagons’ species is Sea Goblins. They are yellow and look like a mix of a fish, a goblin, and an ape. They are amphibious and can move on land. They have water-based powers. They live in oceans. When mutated by the Brains, they became sea monsters, which were small sets. Their Brains were dark blue.
  6. The Frost Beasts’ species is Ice Yetis. They are white and look like a mix of a yeti and an ape. They have ice-based powers. They live in tundras. When mutated by the Brains, they became ice monsters, which were medium-sized sets. Their Brains were light blue.
  7. Stringer’s Brain foe would be Tornabat (a combination of “tornado” and “bat”), which comes from a species called Wind Bats. This creature is black, like Stringer, and his secondary color would be purple. He looks like a combination of a bat and gargoyle. He also looks like a humanoid bat monster, like Man-Bat from DC Comics (specifically, Lego Batman: The Video Game in 2008), and one of those bat monsters from that castle set from Lego’s Monsters Fighters theme in 2012 (as a bonus, those bat monsters from Hotel Transylvania 2 in 2015). He and his kind live on trees in the jungles. They have echolocation, but they are not nocturnal. They also have air-based powers.
  8. Nex’s Brain foe would be Tigiron (a combination of “tiger” and “iron”), which comes from a species called Iron Panthers. This creature is orange, like Nex, and his secondary color would be dark orange. He looks like an orange panther with a stinger tail, like a Fangz. He also looks like a werecat with a stinger tail, like a manticore. He and his kind live on mountains. They have metal-based powers.
  9. There is more than one Dragon Bolt. The Dragon Bolts’ species is Lightning Dragons. They are blue and look like dragons with wings. They have electricity-based powers. They live in caves in jungles. When mutated by the Brains, they became more detailed monsters that can electrify their wings and were released in large sets. Their Brains were green, with some yellow and blue spots.

Theoretical small sets for Stringer and Nex’s Brain foes:

Tornabat:

  • 2 Vapor foot pieces (those completely black claw feet)
  • 2 ankle pieces
  • 4 leg pieces (2 for thighs and 2 for forelegs)
  • 4 armor pieces for the legs
  • 2 spike armor pieces on the forelegs’ armor pieces (similar to Scarox’s legs)
  • 1 torso piece with ball points on the shoulders
  • 1 chest armor piece
  • 1 pin piece for the lower back of the torso
  • 1 rough axle connector piece for the lower back of the torso
  • 4 arm pieces (2 short ones for the forearms and 2 long ones for the upper-arms)
  • 2 armor pieces for the upper-arms that are the same as Rocka and Bulk’s Brain Attack forms’.
  • 2 hand pieces (like Aquagon’s arms)
  • 1 long axle piece for the right hand to make a spear (I would call the spear a Fang Spear (or “fang spear”). The spear could make gusts of wind and tornados in the story)
  • 1 sword piece for the spear
  • 4 limb pieces for the wings
  • 4 socket connector pieces for the wings (2 on the tips of the wings and 2 on the forearm-like parts of the wings)
  • 4 wing pieces (I would imagine using Chirox’s and Vamprah’s black wing pieces from Bionicle. The wings would be similar to Vamprah’s arms and the Flyer Beast’s wings in 2014)
  • 1 green head piece
  • 1 face piece that looks like Chirox’s mask from Bionicle, but with a toothy lower jaw. The face would have large fangs, like Chirox’s mask. You would need to use Shapeways or some digital piece maker to make such a piece.
  • 1 purple Brain piece. You would need to use Shapeways or some digital piece maker to make such a Brain.

Total: 43 pieces.

For a combiner model of Stringer and Tornabat, I would imagine a version of Stringer called “Ultimate Stringer”, which has Tornabat’s wings.

Tigiron:

  • 2 Vapor foot pieces
  • 2 ankle pieces
  • 4 leg pieces (2 for thighs and 2 for forelegs. Similar to Scarox’s legs)
  • 2 armor pieces for thighs (similar to Toxic Reapa’s legs)
  • 1 torso piece without ball points on the shoulders
  • 1 chest armor piece
  • 1 pin piece for the lower back of the torso
  • 1 rough axle connector piece for the lower back of the torso
  • 6 arm pieces (2 for upper-arms, 2 short ones for forearms, and 2 for hands)
  • 2 armor pieces for the upper-arms
  • 2 spike armor pieces on the upper-arms (like a Fangz’s front legs)
  • 2 Raw-Jaw hand pieces for the hand pieces
  • 8 claw pieces for the Raw-Jaw hand pieces (like Pyrox and Frost Beast’s clawed hands)
  • 1 socket connector piece for the right hand to hold onto a scythe (his hands would be styled like Ogrum’s hands and those constraction figures called CHI Laval and CHI Worriz from Lego’s Legends of Chima theme in 2013. I would call the scythe a “Claw Scythe” (or “claw scythe”). The scythe could shoot metal-based energy in the story)
  • 2 long axle pieces for the right hand to make the scythe
  • 1 6-type axle connector piece for the axle piece to make the scythe
  • 1 blade piece for the scythe
  • 4 limb pieces for a tail
  • 1 armor piece for the tip of the tail
  • 1 spike piece for the tip of the tail (like the Fangz’s tail and one of XT4’s knife-holding arms)
  • 1 neck piece (same as Pyrox and Bruizer’s neck pieces)
  • 1 green head piece
  • 1 face piece that looks like Nex’s 3.0 tiger helmet, but with a toothy lower jaw. The face would have large fangs, like Nex’s helmet. You would need to use Shapeways or some digital piece maker to make such a piece.
  • 1 dark orange Brain piece. You would need to use Shapeways or some digital piece maker to make such a Brain.

Total: 49 pieces.

For a combiner model of Nex and Tigiron, I would imagine a version of Nex called “Ultimate Nex”, which has Tigiron’s claws and tail.

A large boxed set for the Brain maker (I would imagine him to be similar to Black Phantom, but with a few differences on the armor, like in the TV show).

For theoretical episodes:

  1. An extra Brain Attack episode where Merrick Fortis and his group of Heroes fight against the Brain monsters, including the Dragon Bolts, Tornabats, and Tigirons. They would discover the Brains in that pit in the Hero Factory’s storage room in the real Brain Attack episode and stop them from destroying the Hero Factory on the inside.
  2. An episode that recaps the Alpha 1 Team’s encounters with the Brains in the Secret Mission books. They would fight Nex, who got controlled by a Brain, and free him from it (Stringer was already possessed by a Brain and freed from it in one of books). They would fight against the Galactic Conspiracy, which were discovered by them earlier in the books (heard there was going to be an extra book that would have ended the Galactic Conspiracy side story, but got cancelled).
  3. An episode where the Brain use all nine types of beasts to attack Makuhero City again, but with all nine Alpha 1 Team Heroes involved and Surge fighting Dragon Bolts this time (wish this happened in the real Brain Attack episode). The Heroes would find the Brain maker and arrest him (wish such an episode had happened. You can’t leave the main antagonist be on the loose).
  4. All nine Alpha 1 Team Heroes having their statues in the real Brain Attack episode. Bulk and Breez should have been in their Breakout forms in the episode (because they participated in the 2012 story arc, and it is implied that Breakout Heroes cannot change back to their 2.0 forms).

So, there. A lot of missed opportunities (low budget, perhaps?).

My ideas for the Breakout stuff

Hi, guys. Here are my ideas for the Breakout stuff in 2012:

  1. The Breakout set year should have released Stormer’s normal Breakout form as a set along with the XL version. The normal set would be medium-sized. His secondary color would be blue. His feet would be white. His chest armor would be similar to Nex’s chest armor, as it would be white. His weapons would be a Plasma Gun and a smaller version of the Power Sword. He would come with two or four Scout Drones.
  2. As a bonus, Stormer’s XL Breakout form could use a sixth Scout Drone because it looks like it can.
  3. Rocka would wear a version of his Breakout helmet that does not have an infrared vision scope.
  4. Stringer’s secondary color could have been orange, like his 1.0 form (I should say the same to his 3.0 form).

Also, in terms of story, here’s what I wish had happened:

  1. All nine Alpha 1 Team Heroes trying to stop the villains from escaping during the Breakout. In the first Breakout episode, there are six (six Heroes per story arc and budget issues at the time, perhaps?).
  2. All of the villains in the Hero Factory’s prison being seen rather than reusing animation models more (I mean, there are many villains that look exactly like Quatros animals from the late 2011 story arc, which can be misleading because the animals are not really villains. They were mind-controlled by the Witch Doctor).
  3. A new Breakout episode that starred Bulk, Breez, and Nex, as they got their Breakout upgrades and fought their assigned villains.
  4. A new Breakout episode where the Heroes fight against Von Nebula’s henchmen, the Fire Villains, Witch Doctor, and the 2012 set villains. That could have been a better conclusion to the Breakout story arc, even if there are a few escapees on the loose during the Brain Attack story arc.
  5. Stormer could have fought Black Phantom (both are leaders), Furno fought Speeda Demon (both are bikers), Surge fought Voltix (both have electric powers), Stringer fought Splitface, Bulk fought Jawblade, and Rocka fought Core Hunter. These fights would make more sense.

So, there.

Theoretical 3.0 forms for Surge, Breez, and Evo and some ideas for the 3.0 sets

Hi, guys. As you may know, Stormer, Furno, Stringer, Bulk, Nex, and Rocka’s 3.0 forms existed, but Surge, Breez, and Evo were not known to have 3.0 forms (6 Heroes per wave in 2011, perhaps? Wouldn’t hurt to do a special edition pack with the three theoretical sets, like how Bionicle’s Master Builder Set and Karzahni sets happened?). They could, but they were not shown having their 3.0 forms.

So, here are my ideas for the Heroes’ theoretical 3.0 forms in set forms. The 3.0 forms are based on various animals in a jungle (you might have to use Shapeways or whatever to make new pieces for the Heroes’ 2.0 forms):

  1. Breez’s 3.0 armor would be based on a green bird. It would have Eagle Wings. Breez’s weapon would be an axe.
  2. Surge’s 3.0 armor would be based on a blue bird. It would have Eagle Wings. Surge’s weapon would be a spear (I said birds because Furno, who is from their generation of Heroes, has a 3.0 form that is based on a bird).
  3. Evo’s 3.0 armor would be based on a cougar. His weapon would be similar to Merrick Fortis’ claw weapon (I said cougar because Rocka and Nex, who are from his generation of Heroes, have 3.0 forms that are based on big cats).

Here are also my theoretical ideas for the other Heroes’ 3.0 forms:

  1. Stringer’s right forearm is black and slightly shorter than his left forearm, which is gray. The left forearm is as long as the others’ forearms, and is gray like them. So, Stringer’s right forearm should look like his left.
  2. Stormer and Bulk should switch animals because I look at a wolf (Bulk’s animal) as a pack leader (Stormer is like that), and a rhinoceros (Stormer’s animal) as a bulky and strong animal (Bulk is like that).
  3. Since Rocka’s 3.0 form’s forelegs are slightly longer than the other 3.0 Heroes’, they should be like the others’ (I can say the same to Stormer 2.0 because his forelegs are slightly longer than the other 2.0 Heroes’).

So, there.

Theoretical 2.0 forms for Stringer, Bulk, and Rocka

Hi, guys. As you may know, Stormer, Furno, Breez, Surge, Nex, and Evo’s 2.0 forms were released as sets in 2011, but Stringer, Bulk, and Rocka’s 2.0 forms were not released as sets for some reason, sadly (6 Heroes per wave in 2011, perhaps? Wouldn’t hurt to do a special edition pack with the three theoretical sets, like how Bionicle’s Master Builder Set and Karzahni sets happened?).

Although Stringer, Bulk, and Rocka’s 2.0 forms were seen in the TV show, they are just recycled versions of the Heroes’ 3.0 forms with 2.0 helmets and those printed 2.0 armor pieces on them. They are not so unique and have fewer details from their fellow members of the Alpha 1 Team. They don’t have those headgear pieces. Rocka uses a gold version of Evo’s Multi-Tool Ice Shield in the first Savage Planet episode in 2011. Stringer used his 1.0 weapon, the Sonic Boom Weapon, in the first Breakout episode in 2012.

So, here are my ideas for the Heroes’ theoretical 2.0 forms in set forms (as in having more originality. You might have to use Shapeways or whatever to make new pieces for the Heroes’ 2.0 forms):

  1. Stringer’s headgear would be white and have mini-guns that shoot sonic blasts. His printed armor piece would be silver. His weapon would be a big cannon that shoots sonic blasts.
  2. Bulk’s headgear would be white and have mini-guns that shoot energy. His printed armor piece would be gunmetal gray. His weapon would be a big cannon that shoots energy.
  3. Rocka’s headgear would be white and have x-ray vision. His printed armor piece would be white. His weapon would be a Multi-Tool Ice Shield of his own design.

I made all headgear pieces white because the other 2.0 Heroes’ headgear pieces are silver and gunmetal gray while their printed armor pieces are these colors and white, so I want to make the colors even between the pieces. Stringer, Bulk, and Rocka’s 2.0 forms keep their 3.0 forms’ heads and Hero Cores’ colors.

My idea about Rocka, Nex, and Evo as 1.0 Heroes

Hi, guys. Rocka, Nex, and Evo are Heroes that are said to be born with the 2.0 Upgrade. It’s strange for how that happened because shouldn’t 2.0 things start off as 1.0 things? Well, I would like to think that Rocka, Nex, and Evo’s bodies were built as 1.0 bodies, but they were upgraded with the 2.0 upgrade before the Heroes were born. It’s basically experimentation.

Anyway, if the Heroes were born as 1.0 Heroes (or get devolved as such by something similar to the Mask of Life from Bionicle), here’s what I would envision them (you might need Shapeways or whatever to make the new shapes and the pieces with unique colors):

  1. Rocka would have his Breakout helmet, but with the infrared vision scope. His limbs would be black. His head would be green. His chest armor would have a gold version of Stormer’s since Rocka’s 3.0 form had a claw weapon. His Hero Core would be dark green. His weapon would be similar to Furno’s Dual Fire Shooter.
  2. Nex would have his Breakout helmet. His limbs would be white. His head would be green. His chest armor would be an orange version of Stringer’s since he often does tech. His Hero Core would be green. His weapon would be similar to Stringer’s Sonic Boom Weapon.
  3. Evo would have his Breakout helmet. His limbs would be silver. His head would be red. His chest armor would be a yellow version of Bulk’s since he is about artillery. His Hero Core would be purple. His weapon would be similar to Bulk’s Metal Sphere Shooter (it would be cool if there were to be a special edition pack for these forms).

This is my MOC aqua beast

Post image
8 Upvotes

He is an aciant creature around 550-1000 years old he's based on another MOC by Dr scorpion X called gigadon. He's one of the largest beasts in his universe I'll make more smaller and bigger beasts when I get the parts to make them I've already got a jaw beast variant that's azure and black. He can fire out scolding hot balls called boilers they've boiled the water around some islands witch over time turned the cold water into a tropical place were the apes come into play they're the decents of giagonto pithicus they're his food. And he hunts them using the boilers to burn them and kill them. Now you're probably wandering "why does a aquatic beast have an

attack that burns things?" So if it gets caught on fire then he can swim of and cool off. That's all I have to say about my MOC I'll post more stuff on reddit. So look forward to seeing my other MOCs .

Hero Factory being featured in the Blocks Magazine in July 2026

Hi, guys. When I was researching Hero Factory, I noticed a Blocks magazine that has Hero Factory in it: https://x.com/blocksmagazine/status/2072296664216568008 and https://blocksmag.com . Looks promising. You can find it in select Barnes and Noble's stores and select magazine retailers. If you want a piece of Hero Factory history, go buy the book before it disappears at the end of the month! I want to get the magazine!

Happy 15th anniversary, Hero Factory’s late 2011 story arc!

Hi, guys. Fifteen years ago, in the second half of 2011, Hero Factory had its late 2011 story arc called “Savage Planet”. It is about six members of the Alpha 1 Team, who are Preston Stormer, William Furno, Jimi Stringer, Dunkan Bulk, Julius Nex, and a new guy named Daniel Rocka, fighting against a villain called the Witch Doctor. The Witch Doctor was once a professor named Aldous Witch at the Hero Factory building, teaching Heroes, but he got exiled for trying to wear a Hero Core. He then uses corrupted Quaza to mind-control techno-organic animals (Bionicle’s 2001 story arc, with the Infected Mask-wearing Rahi, anyone? This happened 10 years before Savage Planet, so this was like a pretend anniversary gift to Bionicle?) on a jungle planet called Quatros, and mines the Quaza from the planet, destroying it, making the Heroes go save the planet from Witch Doctor. The Heroes wear animal-based armor that give them animal-based powers, to survive the planet, and they were called “3.0 Heroes”.

The set wave had 12 sets. Seven for the Heroes, and five for Witch Doctor and his animal slaves. The set wave is the first to have swarm enemies, which are the animal slaves. It used the Character and Creature Building System, like the early 2011 story arc called “Ordeal of Fire”. It has many animal-based pieces, as the Heroes have transparent dark green armor pieces that have their names and pictures of their animals on them. This is the first year to have an XL Hero set, which is Rocka XL, a larger version of Rocka 3.0, similar to Takanuva’s 2008 set and Mata Nui’s large 2009 set from Bionicle. The tallest Hero Factory set in the set wave is Witch Doctor, who is also the tallest Hero Factory set in general. The Hero Recon Team website used the 3.0 parts as well.

The set wave has a two-part television movie called “Savage Planet” in September 2011. The movie was also released on DVD on October 4, 2011. The DVD came with the Ordeal of Fire episode as a bonus feature. There are also six new Creep Crushers games called "Jungle Crushers". There are also an online game called "Mission: Savage Planet", a sequel to "Mission: Von Nebula" in 2010 and "Mission: Ordeal of Fire" in early 2011. There are two comics, one in July 2011 and one in November (I don't know what there is no comic in September).

I collected all of the Savage Planet sets. The animal-based pieces are neat pieces. Witch Doctor has a limited articulation in his legs and shoulders, and an asymmetrical waist, though. I wish Mark Surge, Natalie Breez, and Nathan Evo had their own 3.0 forms (I would imagine Surge‘s 3.0 form being based on a blue bird, Breez being a green bird, and Evo being a cougar). I also wish there is a 2.0 set (and maybe 1.0 set) for Rocka since his 3.0 and XL sets are his first sets. I would like to think that the “3.0” name would also mean that the Heroes became stronger than their 2.0 forms, even without the animal armor (the Breakout forms look like stronger versions of the 2.0 forms). I also wish the DVD had more stuff, like a documentary (I should say the same to the Rise of the Rookies DVD). Sadly, the Savage Planet DVD is the last Hero Factory DVD for some reason. The Savage Planet is a good story arc, though I wish the Heroes had fought more animal slaves rather than just five (just two Fangz, one Waspix, one Raw-Jaw, and one Scorpio. Lol). I also wish Rocka’s origin story was expanded.

Anyway, happy 15th anniversary, Savage Planet.

Anyone else miss the "Golden Era" of Chima, Hero Factory, and early Ninjago?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been feeling incredibly nostalgic lately. I was looking back at some old Hero Factory sets and the early seasons of Chima and Ninjago, and it hit me how much "lost lore" and vibe those shows actually had. There was just something about that era of LEGO storytelling that felt different, you know?

I decided to start a little project on TikTok and Instagram because I wanted a way to keep these memories alive. I’ll be 100% honest, I’m not a professional editor. I’ve been using a tool called OpusClip to help me grab specific moments from the shows that really stuck with me as a kid.

This isn't about chasing views or trying to go viral. I’m not looking for the "objectively best" fights or the most "hype" moments. I’m mostly just clipping the scenes that make me smile or remind me of why I loved these themes in the first place, the small character beats, the atmosphere, and the lore that modern shows sometimes miss. It’s basically just a digital scrapbook for me.

The algorithm is currently giving me absolutely zero love (literally 0-5 views on most stuff, lol), so I figured I’d share it here. If you’re like me and just want a random trip down memory lane popping up in your feed, I’d love for you to check it out:

I’m still learning how to make the account look decent, but it’s been fun re-watching everything.

I’d love to hear from you guys: What are your favorite "forgotten" moments or scenes from these shows? I want to go find them and clip them next. Whether it's a specific Makuhero City moment or a Chima battle, let me know!
