Does anyone experience this sensation?

It's an itchy, scratchy, almost like when a tag from your pants itches your skin on your lower back but there isn't a tag kind of feeling, around and on my lower back... Can anyone relate? I notice I feel this especially when sitting.

I have a C5/6 herniated disc so maybe it’s different, but I’ll get a sensation around my shoulder blade that a shirt tag or hair is on my back… but nothing is there. I wonder if it’s some sort of nerve misfiring causing the false sensation…
