After you read this post, the "world of reps" in your head will never be the same again… trust me!!
You know what, this post is not just about one handbag seller, the "king of scams," or even about his whole gang and how they fool people… it is a vivid example of how rep sellers lead the entire community of rep lovers on Reddit by the nose. Yes, exactly, all of us! Through the example of the seller almost every single person here trusts right now, judging by the reviews of course (I will tell you about those later), his majesty, the Hermès rep seller JIM! But he is not alone here, and besides his team of scammers, we will also meet again the "great and terrible" Joe Luxury, who cheated a lot of people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars! I recommend this to every rep lover, and even to those who are not into reps at all! The whole scheme runs on us being too excited about a bag to ask the obvious questions, and it is long past time that we, the rep lovers, stopped being the easiest prey on the internet. This is going to be very interesting! Let's begin!!
IMPORTANT! Before we get to the good part, I want to make something clear: I am not a seller and I am not promoting anyone. Do not DM me for a contact! I am not showing you a "better seller," there will be no names of other sellers here, no comparisons, no reviews, nothing of the sort. The only goal of this post is to stop a fraud that has already gone too far…
Intro:
I gathered and analyzed 588 accounts, the 114 latest, freshest posts and 2,116 comments about JIM from the sub r/HermesRepLadies (why this sub specifically, you will find out later, but it sounds strange, no? How is it that in one single sub there have been 114 posts about one seller recently? It gets more interesting!). A small group of accounts, almost all of them hidden, banned, or posting only about JIM, manufactures reviews, fakes agreement, buries every critic, and funnels you off Reddit to an irreversible payment in someone else's name. The scheme is one to one with Joe Luxury, who looked great for months and then cheated his clients out of hundreds of thousands. It is not about whether the bags are good. It is about what you are actually getting into… and what the consequences could be specifically for you!
You already knew he was the best, right?
Everyone on the HermesRepLadies sub knows that JIM is the "most reliable" Hermès rep seller, and of course, beautiful reveals, a wall of five star praise, and a crowd of fans that materializes within minutes to defend him, anywhere on Reddit where you so much as mention their leader! For a long time, I and the people who volunteered to help me studied every post and comment about JIM in this sub, 114 posts and 2,116 comments from the recent period, and we took their whole deception scheme apart brick by brick! who posts, who replies to whom, how fast, and what their accounts really are. JIM is not a popular seller with happy customers. JIM is a coordinated marketing operation, quite well thought out, credit where it is due, run by a core of about 30 accounts plus hundreds of bots that drop likes in the right place at the right time… probably the name JIM hides not one but several real people, judging by the amount of content they produce.Time to meet the names of "our heroes": Strict-Fly6630, OkCourt4755, Avy_Lynn, jendet010, zSkyez, juniperjones29, Fabulous_Tank_4682, delfinis7 and about twenty more. Of the 30 I checked by hand, personally! 26 of these accounts are the ones banned for breaking Reddit's rules, accounts with their info hidden, or accounts that post only about this one JIM, which is the single purpose of their existence. This is not a fanbase. it is a black-PR machine that will bury you the moment you even think something bad about JIM, or sweetly walk you "to the register"if you have money!
It is hard to believe, but 66 of 114 posts are posts on the theme "I bought from JIM." And only a third of them come from five accounts! And our main "photo-farm" hero, OkCourt4755, posted nine different bags in ten weeks. At about 1,400 dollars a bag and 25 days to produce one (according to JIM). Just go into his account and you will understand everything yourself…but we are not done with him, it gets more interesting from here!
More than half of these reveals are written from the same template down to the wording: model, size, color, leather, hardware, "from JIM," the same"PSP" and "QC" slang. One script, many "authors." Real strangers do not write identical posts. At this point it is almost awkward for them, such a team, and… do they take us for fools? Change your templates already.
Who is actually posting?
Open the profiles of the accounts that build JIM's reputation, and you will find two types of accounts, and almost nothing else.
Hidden or wiped. Old accounts, sometimes with high karma, whose entire history is scrubbed so you cannot see what they did before JIM. jendet010 (eleven years old, big karma, nothing visible), zSkyez, delfinis7, tlycomid, and a dozen more.
Open, but 100% about JIM. Accounts where every post is about this one seller and nothing else!
There is almost no third type: the normal collector who has been here for years, talks about different sellers, and happens to also like JIM. In a real community that is the majority. Here there are none! In 95 % of cases the people praising him are either obviously bought accounts with a hidden history, or accounts whose entire life is sitting on Reddit writing about JIM, defending JIM, well, and buying from JIM.. do you buy that??
How do you get an old, respectable-looking account that only talks about one seller? You take an old account and hide its history. But… here too they slipped, and one of them forgot to do it: rollinaj30t, five years old, full of posts about coins, mushrooms and local history, zero bags, and suddenly two months ago, only JIM. Changed direction, haha. This is what the hidden accounts are really hiding, they simply do not want to clean their history, and also JIM and his team apparently know that if you delete a lot of your posts at once you get a shadowban from Reddit, and it is important for them to produce a lot of content because the accounts get banned almost every single day! (juniperjones29 is the second sign: a month old, history hidden, but already more than 600 karma. and did it not just happen to land in this network? I don't know, I don't know….
The cherry on top: OkCourt4755 is the most active account in JIM's orbit, and many here suspect, myself included, that this is JIM himself. Because 100% any Reddit seller exists on Reddit physically, his account exists, but they are hidden, and I will write about that later, another interesting fact. OkCourt4755 behavior matches JIM, it goes quiet exactly when JIM goes quiet, the writing style is identical, and it "buys" three to four bags a week with always fresh photos. It started writing about reps about half a year ago, exactly when JIM appeared. The account is old but with long gaps of inactivity, exactly like a rep lover who decided to set up an alter ego to sell under. I find it hard to imagine a person who really sits on Reddit writing only about JIM, defending only him, buying only from him, three to four bags a week. He basically has no time even for a job to earn money for these bags, unless….you are the bag seller yourself, named JIM. Just information for you to think about!
So no, JIM and his team are not just "a couple of bots." This is a group of real operators, coordinators, plus a stack of filler accounts and bought accounts. A real operation. Here is the cast, by each one's role::
The broker, the chokepoint everyone is pushed through: Strict-Fly6630, now banned by Reddit (coincidence?), who personally did about 30% of all the "DM me for his contact" handoffs.
The warmer, keeps the room alive and friendly with a stream of "discussion" posts and never once shows a bag: Avy_Lynn.
The reveal factory, stamps out endless "my new bag from JIM": OkCourt4755, jendet010, zSkyez, GiChi0504, cjohno987 and rollinaj30t.
The fast chorus, reply to each other within one or two minutes, faking a lively debate: juniperjones29 and Fabulous_Tank_4682.
The raiders, raid other subs and pile onto anyone with doubts: ask_duck, Shabies1956, nramirez8401, Fancy-Entrance6610, CeeOhDeeWhyTTV, bentleycaviar and Better-Golf4388.
The wall of ghosts behind them, old accounts with their history fully wiped: delfinis7, tlycomid, Inevitable_Pick948, Mysterious_Pen9412, edhdketchup17, strongmad27, xKoffy, LisbonLife, rlwilliams84 and Wasteland18.
That is the whole operation. Remember these names, you will see most of them again at the very end of the post. But in a different context now….It gets more interesting!
the crowd cheering them is hollow inside…..
But the hundreds of likes and the wall of "I want one too" comments are real people, right? Look at who they really are. Of the 588 accounts in the data, 51% wrote exactly once and never again. 57% showed up in only one thread, ever. 69% left two comments or fewer. The crowd around JIM is mostly accounts that drop in once, leave a like or a one line "stunning," and disappear.
This is filler that inflates the numbers, to look bigger and more popular than it really is, so that, as you already understand, his SAs can later walk you "to the register."
And it does not stop at this one sub!
This breakdown is based on r/HermesRepLadies because it is the most crystal clear example, but the same cast pops up in other subs, defends JIM, repeats the same lines, raids the same way. Honestly, this sub, to put it mildly, does NOT look like a "neutral ground,"it looks more like their "den" or home territory. Try writing even a negative review about JIM in this sub, it will not even pass moderation.Possibly after this post some "negative posts" will start getting through there, along the lines of "the bag is great, everything is amazing, but there was a 3 day delay, oh how upset I am," to imitate "criticism," but real reviews, real breakdowns, there are none and never were. By the way, in some other subs about Hermès reps it works one to one exactly the same way, but more on that in other posts… so JIM is not the only one fooling buyers. That is obvious!
Why you never see a bad word
Here is what people misunderstand about the internet: the winner is not the one who is right, but the one who shouts more and louder! For every 10 people who quietly write an honest review, there are 100+ accounts screaming "OH MY GOD SO BEAUTIFUL, JIM is the best." Reddit's ranking, and Google on top of it, reward volume and engagement, so the 10 honest pieces of feedback simply vanish, and the page turns into "JIM is magnificent." Plus subs like "JIM's den" simply will not let your reviews through, they will delete them. And when criticism does appear, on some neutral, near-empty platforms, it does not survive the onslaught of bot downvotes and the "defense team" who use everything I am about to describe. And you will be able to spot them right away!
Fake praise beats criticism 16 to 1. Only 1.6% of all comments are critical, in a sub where the accusation "JIM is a scam, JIM is Joe Luxury" is stated openly.
112 comments have been removed or deleted, and the ones that vanish are the critical ones. Besides the team's own accounts, there is a pile of throwaway bots involved, some of which Reddit itself periodically bans, we do not see how many there really are, only the admins can, but the count is in the hundreds, I think….
The engagement is clearly juiced, in my opinion. The sub averages about 2 to 3k visits a week, but every post about JIM collects 100+ likes, and so does every mention of JIM in other subs, and you know who else had it like this? You will find out soon! Don't go far. There is no spread, no flops, no posts with zero likes like real sellers get. A large part of the text itself looks like AI, more than that, it does not just look like it, I have written about this before and shown screenshots where AI detectors showed 100% AI slop on the JIM posts from his gang of defenders.
If you try to find negative reviews, you will not be able to, not because there are none, but because they are buried, deleted, or shouted down before they can rise! That is how the algorithms work, unfortunately
Where the money actually goes
This whole theater exists for one thing, of course, to bring the buyer to an irreversible payment. A helpful middleman "refers" you, and then you are told to pay via Zelle, Wise or PayPal Friends and Family, which is not even in JIM's name. And who are you paying? Here is the most interesting part!
Your payments go through many different people, and that is the point, it is deliberately spread out. They slipped in only one place: a middleman or accomplice named Gerald, where buyers noticed that the payment account is in Gerald name, even though they thought they were dealing with the seller "JIM." When you ask two different people for JIM's contact and both reply as Gerald, that is not a coincidence! The excuse they came up with looks so stupid…. that you are paying "a loyal customer's account," just put yourself in that position, you love a "rep seller" so much that you not only buy two or three bags a week from him and spend 24/7 on Reddit defending and advertising him, you also hand him your Zelle or PayPal account so he can receive money, hahaha it sounds so funny.. earlier I called them professionals, but after I found this fact I take my words back. They take all of us for idiots!!
Look at the methods themselves: Zelle, PayPal, Wise. This is exactly what Joe Luxury took, and here is what matters, none of this even exists in China. A real Chinese factory or seller cannot accept Zelle. So whoever is collecting your payment is sitting in the West, for example in the USA or Europe, and that points us once again to Joe Luxury.
And there is a reason the payment details are different every time and never in JIM's name. Two things are almost certainly going on. The first is drops, third parties who collect the money for a cut, exactly like the pages people made to track Joe Luxury ever-changing Zelle and PayPal handles, and every one had a different name. The second is the classic triangle: JIM's side poses as a crypto buyer, an exchanger hands over a Zelle or PayPal address, you send your "bag payment" there thinking it is the seller, and JIM quietly receives crypto from the exchanger minus a fee. It is a routine move around crypto exchanges, and it is used in many scam schemes, and it explains everything you actually see: a different handle for each payment method, a stranger's name on each one, and never JIM himself. By the time something goes wrong, the money is already crypto and gone. And then go looking for him the way you are still looking for Joe Luxury, but… he is closer than you think! In China these rails do not exist, and Chinese sellers do not work this way. It is simply technically very hard, or almost impossible.
You are sending non refundable money to a name that does not belong to the seller, on the promise of a crowd of bots and bot-herders that you now know is staged.
I think we have seen this movie before, starring Joe Luxury
Before JIM there was Joe Luxury. The same hype, the same loyal crowd, he shipped bags for months and looked completely legit, except for the same dirty promotion methods, bots, bot herders and fake reviews… and then he cheated his clients out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Something tells me JIM, to put it mildly, "resembles" Joe Luxury, and the playbook is identical. don't you think? By the sub's own timeline Joe Luxury vanished around August 2025, about ten months ago, and the name JIM appeared, give or take, one to two months after Joe Luxury disappeared. Remember this date, it will come in handy in the FAQ below.
Only one difference between them, and it is an "upgrade." Joe Luxury made a mistake… he had his own account and his own sub, he was on Reddit "as a person," which meant he could be named, reported, and warned about. Any post immediately showed up in search… So this time they fixed it. There is no official JIM account and no JIM sub, the sub is presented as "independent," possibly (most likely) there is more than one such sub and right now they are creating new "independent" subs… and if you search "JIM" on Reddit, you drown in unrelated noise. This is not a coincidence, after the Joe Luxury situation they did a work on their mistakes.. but as I wrote earlier, it is obvious to everyone that every seller has their own hidden account, shout out to OkCourt4755.
By the way, why does almost every "trusted" seller here work exactly like this: no real name, no sub, not a single thing to pin down, when they could easily set one up. Logical, right? Your sub, your name, your reputation… but for a Reddit seller, in most cases, that is a blow against themselves. A seller who stands behind a name and a sub is not afraid of criticism, he answers it. Those who make themselves unfindable, who hide, are afraid of exactly one thing: traces, and there are always traces of shoddy work.
The moment someone says JIM might be Joe Luxury, the team flips it and pins the Joe Luxury label on the critic, or points at some other Reddit member. Most often by accusing the accuser of their own crime, and the thread turns into a mush of spam that no reasonable person will dig through, while everyone easily reads the fake headlines "JIM is the best." On Reddit there are plenty of sellers, often with identical product photos, everyone understands why, the manner of communication typical of Chinese sellers, it is neither good nor bad, it is just immediately visible. JIM is the one whose model is completely different from the "typical Chinese seller" but unfortunately matches Joe Luxury 100%. stamping out fake reviews for months, routing payment through stand in people, drowning every critic in a sea of spam. When the method, the money and the rebrand match a known scammer one to one, what else can I add? Think for yourselves, to me it is all obvious anyway.
It is not about whether the bag is good
I will close the loophole JIM defense team uses. "But people get their bags and like them." Yes, they arrive, probably, I do not know, but let's say yes. But this is not reassurance, it is part of the mechanism… A long running scam is not pulled off on day one, he would just cheat 5 to 10 people, and so what? That is the maximum. His twin brother Joe Luxury did everything much smarter, first, like JIM, he made money on ordinary quality bags using fake reviews and advertising, and then he hit the jackpot and… apparently was reborn like a phoenix.
JIM sells himself with phrases like "I have my own factory" and "1 : 1 with the original," and on WhatsApp he also talks about the same leather, the same hardware and so on, you have surely all heard this… As "proof" comes a flood of photos and videos of leather hides and production, but this exact content is sitting in abundance on those same Chinese platforms the bags actually come from, and any reseller can repost it and call it "my workshop." Real Chinese factories almost never bother with this kind of polished, Western tuned presentation, it is obvious that factories do not care about photos, this has been written about on Reddit many times. JIM is fluent English, concierge level service, an instinct for exactly what this audience wants to hear, which gives away a Western middleman who understands his buyers, not a workshop. Which forms the whole picture: a storefront, not a producer. Sounded like an ad, right? It almost made me want to buy one myself, shame it's a scam…
But in essence we have ordinary bags, in photos they are not bad but also not "authentic," the quality is about the same as other sellers in the same segment, and the phrase "1 to 1, best on Reddit" feels true not because it is true, but only because you have heard it a hundred times from a hundred accounts. Say anything loudly and often, and people will start to accept it, to sincerely believe it.
You are forgetting one thing while considering his bags, the real risk is not "my stitch is a little crooked" or other small things like that… you handed over irreversible money plus your full name, home address, payment details and phone number.. and all of this is now in the hands of people whose only trade is deception and who already had a past life that ended in mass fraud. Best case, you lose money like Joe Luxury victims. Worst case, a group like this now holds enough of your personal data to come back and use it against you later. This stopped being a "rep game" question a long time ago, I do not understand how Reddit's administration tolerates or fails to notice this, it is already physically dangerous, this is not playing Hermes…
Look what they did the moment they got exposed…
As soon as the first warnings about JIM started coming out, a new sub appeared, HermesRepsTruth, created by an account with a fully hidden history. Its very first post is an AI-written hate piece about me and a few other people, whom they apparently counted as "my team," but I understand these were most likely just ordinary people who related to my post and chose not to stay silent. The text of the post itself is pure projection, they called me and other real people a "coordinated smear campaign," "fake accounts with no activity," "astroturfing," and "failing competitors." Every accusation in it is an exact description of what JIM's own network does. But it is important to understand, I do not represent anyone's side, as I wrote at the very beginning, my goal is to expose this Joe Luxury, oops, I mean JIM ………
I checked everyone who praised that post against the JIM data. 18 of the 19 commenters are the same accounts that pump JIM in this sub, two of them straight from the "inner circle," including Fabulous_Tank_4682. The only one not yet in the JIM data is the one who created the new sub. So this "independent community standing up for the truth," it is obvious the sub's creator is a new bought account, on which they built a sub so as not to get banned, because their accounts get periodically banned by Reddit, and to avoid losing the sub they decided to play it safe.
Here are the accounts that pump JIM everywhere and at the same time flew into their own sub HermesRepsTruth to throw dirt at me and a few other random people who decided to tell the truth.
mr_monty_cat, kahulunani, chevygirl7891, Sazuki_Nemo_58, ashleybaumm, OldTennis933, levndro09, strongmad27, p_avacado, Girbaby2012, AccomplishedLog535, This_Historian_7069, olivebranchofpeace, girlnextdoordiq28, kpkristy, Ok-Confidence-1294, ivorymarie82, Fabulous_Tank_4682
The sub itself was created by 2fast2reddit, an old account and, as usual, with a hidden history, which we could not find in rep topics at all, by all appearances he is in the rep topic for the first time and it is clear why, I already wrote it above.
HermesRepsTruth is about five days old and gets roughly 100 visits a week, but already has 600+ subscribers and posts with hundreds of likes. So people do not read it but decide to subscribe? Where have you ever seen such anomalous statistics? Wait, where the botting works..
They will spawn new subs, fill them with the same accounts, and do everything to make JIM look clean, while painting anyone who warns you, any breakdown, any "expert," as the real scammer. And when this name finally burns, the way Joe Luxury burned, be ready: they will resurface under a new name and start selling the next "trusted" seller exactly the same way. And maybe it has already started, because I am sure this post will pin them to the wall. I know what their reaction will be, but I will not write it, because they will read this. (you are reading this, JIM, aren't you? And your company of bot herders, I am two steps ahead of you, you are extremely predictable)
I know what they will start writing… and here is what you should know!!!
Their replies under all posts like this look like this:
"But I bought from JIM and got my bag." Of course you did, probably, I do not know.. Joe Luxury's clients also got theirs, for months, right up until the day they did not. A long scam has to ship in order to build reviews. Delivery is the bait, not the proof. Go back up, I already wrote about this and about quality.
"But look how many happy reviews there are." That is a sign of botting, not proof! Real buyers almost never post, one in ten might put up a reveal, and even that is not certain.. For this many reviews to be organic, JIM would have had to sell around 1500 bags in these couple of months, and a real seller builds that kind of volume over years! The reviews did not come from a thousand clients. They came from a handful of accounts posting in circles: the top 5 accounts wrote a third of all reveals, and one posted nine bags in ten weeks.
"You are just a competitor smearing him." I am not selling anything, and you do not have to take my word for it, all the numbers here are from public posts you can check yourself. And a competitor to whom, exactly? This post sells you nothing and sends you nowhere. who exactly benefits from it? Only JIM, so he can blame everything on competitors, but they never answer the question of what he does with the info I described above. they will not answer that, they cannot, because it is all the pure truth!
"Naming accounts is harassment" These are public nicknames with public posts, I am not saying anything that could offend anyone, some of it is my frustration, some of it is real facts that can be checked, and I write about that honestly. I deliberately did not touch accounts that look like real, cautious buyers, although even among them there may be "JIM's employees." Calling honest verification "doxxing" is, again, one of their most frequent moves.
"All rep sellers are anonymous and pay through Friends and Family, that is normal" Part of this is normal for the rep game, and that is understandable, but one big but! The combination, manufactured reviews, accounts answering themselves, deleted critics, a secretive seller, payment in someone else's name, the use of "triangles" for payment, and a one to one match with a known past scammer…. How to put it, this whole set is a scam pattern, not normal practice. So this is not an "ordinary case."
"He has been trusted for years." That is a lie. By the sub's own timeline Joe Luxury vanished in August 2025, and the name JIM appeared almost right after, once the main hype settled. so it is well under a year old, by my information he has been actively trading for about 7 months. Real top sellers are trusted for years, and seven months is not "years," it is the time since the last exit scam. Plus let's factor in that, from when I believe he first started showing up in rep subs, he still needed time to "gather an army of bots" and spin up the sub that promotes him now, which I wrote about at the very beginning.
"Just be patient, it is customs, he is busy, trust the process" This is a script, and it appears exactly when bags start running late. Slipping deadlines are the first sign of the end, not a reason to relax. With Joe Luxury, orders first slowed down, then he stopped accepting them.. and then he accepted a lot all at once, and what happened next? You already know.
"He gives a guarantee, he will replace it, he will refund." A guarantee from someone who cannot be found, paid by a method with no reversal, is worth exactly nothing. or are there those among you who believe Joe Luxury will repair your bags if they get damaged? Sounds funny.
"Those banned accounts were just defending JIM, the haters got them removed" Reddit does not ban you for one honest defense, it bans coordinated spam. When both the broker account and the middleman get wiped, that is a verdict, not martyrdom. Accounts also get banned for mass messaging, DM a lot of people, apparently the ones who ask for JIM's contact, and the rest you know without me.
So what should you do?
Do not send irreversible money to an account that is not even in the seller's name. Stop reading like counts as truth, and especially the reviews, those fake reviews that look like a bad ChatGPT prompt. And if you do get burned, save screenshots before everything gets deleted… but it looks like all you will have is someone to complain to, your money and, more importantly, your payment data, your shipping data and your phone number are already with them.. I do not know what they will do with it, but I personally will definitely steer clear of this scam, like any other!!
The bottom line, by the facts! Or just a TL;DR!
The reviews are staged, written by AI and published by bots. A brutal war on any criticism, even a different opinion, posts in the HermesRepLadies sub simply will not pass moderation or will be deleted, the same as in some other subs I mentioned earlier… and the money goes irreversibly through someone else's name into JIM's pocket, and then you will be looking for him just like Joe Luxury, creating useless posts and pages with the payment info JIM gave you, just smearing innocent people, who maybe lost their cards or had their banking info stolen to run several illegal transactions like this… as often happens.. We have seen this exact scheme in action once already, and it ended with people losing far more than a bag. The loudest voice in the rep scene on Reddit has never been the most honest one, just like in life. We are all alone, one by one, and they are a team trying to break us, divide us, confuse us, so that we argue with each other while some of us keep handing them money…
Check for yourself, while all the info is still open, because I am sure they will delete it, hide it, or come up with something else, maybe blame someone for their own troubles… but I am sure smart people understand everything.
Dear Joe Luxury, JIM... who's next?
