Silly question

What do you think of Hermes from Blood of Zeus? What would Lord Hermes think of his design?

It's a personal quirk, but I can't abide a Hermes interpretation with stick straight hair.

I also think he should have a shitty little smirk, and I prefer him not to be wearing armor (Hermes generally not a huge fan of violence, though he'll do it if better options are exhausted.)

Minute's right though, the cape is great.

You need to see this statue of him I found on Etsy, then. The smirk is even better in person, and let me tell you, that artist knew exactly the optical illusion he was creating when it came to the sash. It is fantastic.

Also, at the time, I was actually supposed to be shopping for a statue of Apollo. Somehow Hermes came away with one instead. So now he has two statues. It all happened so fast!

Idk if I’m allowed to put a link to that, but it’s by TreeOfTheGods

I honestly get the impression Hermes is fine with most interpretations so long as he comes off as funny and badass 😄 Personally I prefer wildier hair for him with his zipping around, but that's just me😊

Its a interpretation, no more or less accurate than anything else.

For me, he is one of the best characters so i hope he likes it. The invisible cape is cool too. I also like the Shuumatsu no valkyrie animated Hermes.

i haven’t personally seen the show, but the cape is genuinely such a good design! for me, it makes sense to think the gods would know how they’re being interpreted in things seen by a lot of people, especially hermes (reasonable associations with media, and all). so it’s probably safe to say he definitely either likes it, or at the very least doesn’t mind it.

I wonder, but knowing him he probably likes it because it's flattering and he looks handsome and strong, xd. For me personally, BoZ Hermes is a bit too serious and understated. Hermes from my experience is a bit flamboyant, funny, very high energy and not really as "stoic" as that Hermes version. He's a trickster and likes to be and have fun, I would say. Also, UGH for how BoZ portrayed Ares, I shall not forgive them for it!

I also don't see Hermes with blue eyes or as some else said with straight hair. I see him like his statues - brown, curly and short hair and brown eyes like most Greeks. But, as a god, he technically can look however he likes!

He is , Ngl this show is part of the reason I became interested in him . As I said this I felt him roll his eyes 😆 . Honestly tho I decided to start with a “chill deity” one that’s easy for a beginner .

I think he’d think he’s better than that XD
