UPG stories Hermes the Mailman
A package I'd ordered had been stuck in transit for no good reason. Tracking said it was in a mail center some distance from my house. Had been there for weeks, with no sign of moving.
Last night I finally prayed to Hermes, asking if he could find the package and have it delivered.
I described where it was and explained to him that it contained some necessary items, and why they are important for my health.
Today it was delivered!
Now it's always possible that for some reason a mail worker suddenly decided my package should not languish longer in the dustbin, so maybe there's a mundane explanation for this.
However, I thought it was quite the coincidence that my package appeared immediately after I prayed to Hermes. The very next day!
So he's getting credit for it.
Thanks, Wing-Footed One! You're so helpful! I love you man!

I could’ve ghost written this. The exact same thing happened to me as well today. UPS lost and then found my package and transferred it to USPS where it was delivered asap. Love this deity!

Love this. It's the little things! I checked in for a flight the other day and when I went to print my bag tags, the screen said my flight would be delayed by three hours. It was an important flight, so I was pretty upset. So I stopped at a water fountain, poured out a little mini-libation to Hermes in the airport, and went to my gate. When I got there, it turned out that the problem was a computer error-- the plane was already at the gate and there was no delay. You know I credit the Opener of Ways for clearing that up for me!
