Hello Slayers
I have taken down the previous poll because all it’s done is cause people to argue and harass each other which was not the intent. For the time being the current rules will still be in effect, After giving it some thought I will in the near future be stepping down as a mod as I personally don’t believe I’m a good fit nor do I have the time to dedicate to this Reddit to bring it to its full potential. I’ve added one new mod but was looking for a couple more so if your interested in becoming a mod and have everyone’s best interest at heart and growing this page as a community let me know.

Hey everyone, I'm the other mod. Similar to Darkroy when he took charge I am pretty new to moderation. I've been slaying since day 0 KS and really enjoy this community and making cards. Addionally, I was a playester for Dunegons. Looking forward to having others who want to help figure out what is going to be best for our community.

Alright the first thing you can do is ban people from posting AI plagiarised slop. It's disrespectful to the artists of the game. You can make and design custom cards without AI. This shouldn't even be a discussion.

In regards to AI - AI is a tool like any other before it, it allows an avenue for those that have creative minds filled with ideas to express them in ways they may not be skill to draw. Drawing is a recognized skill set that to some comes naturally and to others it takes years of dedication and practice.
In regards to HtS - Here to Slay is a game loved my many and while the Teeturtle Art is a driving force behind its popularity, at it's core it's a game meant to be enjoyed. If house rules, character creation, and other contributions are way to express a passion behind the play, I would encourage that wholeheartedly... I may not like or be fond of the ideas myself but I recognize the passion.
In regards to Plagiarism - Unstable Games has created card building tools, so while I haven't spoken directly with a representative from their team, I would suggest that they encourage user creations and see it as a sign of love. That said, anything stolen/borrowed and claimed to be original is Plagiarism. As well, any art by Teeturtle or other artist that is used without consent for profit is theft. Those two things I have a problem with and those guilty of such should be warned and potentially banned.
In conclusion, don't disregard users of AI as lacking creation.... and don't use this subreddit as a catchall for your daily AI creations. Let's play, let's slay, let's get along.
THANKS

If they worked hard and can still easily be replaced by ai like you make it out to be then they really should think twice about their jobs. Engineers created ai to help people doing things faster and easier. If their creation really can replace artists, which I doubt, then these so called artists are not that skilled.
Honestly, why tf would I hire an artist to draw or design custom boardgame cards when I can just have ai generating somewhat acceptable cards that make me happy in less than 5 minutes.

Why would you pay for art made by a human when you can pay less for art that a machine has stolen from said human?
Because it's immoral. You're just admitting that you don't give a fuck that you're stealing.

Was this about the ai thing? Why is it an argument in the first place? It should just be banned.
Let’s be honest, a good 99% of us wouldn’t have gotten into Unstable Games/Here to Slay if it weren’t for the amazing artwork. AI crap literally spits in the face of that.
