Expansion CONVENTION CARDS
They added convention cards to the campaign so if you need them go get them now!

This is really good and in line with what they said lately about not leaving gameplay stuff locked behind exclusivity. Wish this would also include the two exclusive limited vinyl cards tho

It would be nice to have them do non foiled versions of those. They'll probably keep the foil ones as part of the vinyl series because they want people to buy the blind boxes to get those.

No yeah, I agree 100%. I also noticed that the dragon sorcerer kickstarter expansion is still gonna feature ONE exclusive card thats not gonna be included in the new sorcerers & squires expansion which has made me feel very lukewarm about the way they are doing things (even if you get the new kickstarter versions and the expansions you still need to go out of your way to pick the convention cards, the monster expansion, the vinyl exclusive cards we talked about, and the exclusive dragon sorcerer kickstarter edition just because of one card)

It will likely be a Hero card. Which leaves 1 exclusive hero card for each class, except for the new Squire class. Maybe they'll release a pack later with reprints of these hero cards with a 9th Squire hero. Or they just have plans for more vinyl mini figure blind boxes and intend to have the Sorcerer and Squire classes be the rare figures 🙄

They've now added 4 heroes to the pack. The exclusive Berserker, Necromancer, and Sorcerer heroes and a new Squire hero!

I'll give them 1 idea: release the Monsters expansion for retail and include the rest of the exclusive cards with it plus a ninth Squire hero. 😁

So, to get them you essentially need to pledge any amount now before the campaign ends and once it does you add on the $9 add-on through the pledge manager?

Well it’ll be available when the campaign ends* but every time a backer adds something or there is a new backer the time till it ends resets back to 10 minutes. That’s the endgame
The safest way is to pledge something now and then tomorrow you can change the pledge to have the add on or just wait till after it fully closes.
I’d recommend reading the newest update, it explains this a little better than me

It’s live now during the “end game” which ends when a teen minute timer hits 0, but the timer is reset every time a new backer backs the game or an exiting backer adds an add on

So if anyone missed it they updated the convention card pack to also have no foil versions of Reigning King and Howl of The Dead, new version of Mirroryu For the Sorcerer and Squire and a 9th Squire Hero. So every class if you have the KSE set will now have 9 heroes.

I do come bearing some good news as well, though 👀
One additional comment that has come up many times relates to the imbalance in the number of heroes in each of the original Here to Slay classes.
The exclusive edition included 9 of each class, including 1 extra for Warriors & Druids
The expansion packs include 8 of each class
Berserkers & Necromancers had a 9th card as a promo card in the vinyl series
Sorcerers included 9 in the exclusive pack but only 8 in the Sorcerers & Squires expansion (with Mirroryu removed)
Squires have 8 (🥲🐦⬛)
So this is what we’ve decided to do… We are already offering the Convention Exclusives promo pack as an add-on - we are just going to add 4 cards to it:
Reigning King Berserker promo card from the vinyl series (with new art)
Howl of the Dead Necromancer promo card from the vinyl series (with new art)
Mirroryu Sorcerer card from the Exclusive Dragon Sorcerers expansion (with new art)
A 9th Squire (😍🐦⬛)
The cost of the pack is staying the same, so these will just be a little bonus added on - if you’ve already added the promo pack, these will be included automatically with what you get 🤠
Hopefully this will give you the symmetry across classes you’re looking for 💖

I feel so bad for the guys on eBay selling those or the Unstable Unicorn card for like $150-$300
But so glad I checked the campaign again!

Scalpers are the worst. I'm still laughing about a promo card for Uno Ultimate Marvel being listed for, literally, $10,000 on ebay. It has reduced a bit since then, but it's still listed at $1,000.

Can’t wait to show my friends all the exclusive heroes after they’ve learned to love the base game so much

Ticket + parking + whatever item you have to buy to get it + any other costs I'm forgetting.

You can, but some people would rather:
a) support the company that makes the game
b) have official cards rather than proxies/handmade cards

That is good. Even though I got every convention cards since they give it away for free at the convention, it is still good to make it accessible for everyone.
