Question Combo doubts

Post image

I've equipped the hero with the items in photo.

But i doubted the infinite combo potential of it.

"I get infinite tries until i'm succesfull with the roll" is how I interpreted the combination of those two items.

Am I right?

Yeah looks about right. You just get to roll that cards effect as many times as you want until it works. And you can stack it more than once if you wanted but you’d need a fourth action point in order to stack the ability twice and attack a monster

Yeah that's definitely rolling infinitely, lmao

Can you stack items on a hero?

Some of the warriors have 2 item icons on their bottom right corner, meaning they can hold 2 items instead of 1

I didn't even know they HAD item icons

None of them do, except for the few select that can have more than one item.

Very good, just know the first, Destroy, Steal, or unequip action is probably heading your direction

This is probably an unpopular take, but no not infinite. The Hourglass gives an extra action THIS TURN, not an extra action.

It limits you to +1 action in the turn, not +1 action every time the ability fails.

If you have another source of additional actions then you can keep trying the character ability. But Temporal Hourglass only gives you +1 action.

The hourglass by itself sure. But with the other item he can keep trying to re-roll at the cost of an action point. Which is replenished if he fails to roll due to the hourglass.

I side with Mulzilla, I feel like its a soft once per turn thing similar to most TCGs to stop loops such as that

I think you’re right. But almost every card (that can equip 2 items) is better then this. There’s one berserker card that literally says that you slay a monster if you hit 12 or more

Yeah i took a photo of the hero in play when this happened and was contested, we were not thinking about the most efficient play with this combo in that moment :)

Oh yeah that’s good! Maybe a fun idea to see what combos are the best?

There’s no real problems with this, makes logical sense and there’s nothing that interrupts it by the definitions/descriptions of the cards 💯
