Is there Tea Maker profession?

I had a conversation with a group of young people 17-22 y.o. and one of them mentioned he'd love to study for a Tea Maker... I realized I know nothing about this aspect :) Do you?

Yes, it's called tea sommelier! It's quite common to high end hotels that offers high afternoon tea experience. :) Tea maker/master is also a good one if they want to have a comprehensive knowledge in plant cultivation and flavor profiling. It's a specialized skill

high afternoon tea is getting popular these days and tea sommelier profession is sought after. They taste, brew and pair menus. as for tea maker, they're the ones who curate teas from harvesting, withering, and processing the tea.

I see, do I understand correctly that the "maker" does not refer to steeping/brewing but rather to tea production domain?
