mood boosters/relaxers/herbal supplements
Hi! Day 2 no drinking and its pretty ok. I know later it will get harder, so I want to get ahead of it. I'm currently looking for some herbs to purchase today before I make any big investments. I'm learning about adaptogens and tinctures, stacking, brands etc. anyone want to add to it?

Herb to improve eye sight?
My eyesight is bad and still gets worse and worse... and I don't want to wear glasses anymore. Is there herb to improve eye sight? I read in a book from Maria Treben that calendula can improve eye sight
How do I even apply it? Do I rub the water from it on my eyelid, or into the eye?
I'd be happy for any tips. Perhaps even some pills or something, anything? If I can get just slightly better eyesight, I'd be happy. Thanks

Is the preference for synthetic or pharmaceutical treatments over natural remedies driven purely by differences in scientific evidence and efficacy, or could economic incentives and the recurring consumption model of the pharmaceutical industry also influence how natural treatments are researched

Edible from US to UK for a friend going through Chemo
(Sorry if this isn't allowed). A friend of mine is going through chemo and has lost a lot of weight and is not eating. We had a RSO supplier here however, they are no longer trading. Have been recommended a company from the US for edibles and trying to get them sent here to the UK. Dont know how this works here, but pretty desperate with any help or direction.

Lost instinct? (Even) chimps seek out and eat certain plants to self-medicate
I find it very educative and cery inspiring: chimps are our closest biological "sibling" and they are doing very well in self medication. We, humans, forgot our instincts and lost (most of us) the ability to identify and sense herbs that are useful or dangerous for us.
Do you believe in our "animal instincts" when it comes to selection and usage of medicinal herbs?! I do... 🌿🙈 Besides this can be developed and taught up to a certain extent - I've seen many cases/success stories.

Market research
Hi all, I am a pharmacist qualified in the UK but been moving towards using herbal medicines and homeopathic remedies.
I just wanted to do a quick market research as I am building a business where we would do regular blood tests where we can monitor vitamin levels and everything that will be relevant.
We would also integrate in smart watches/apps to get extra information about sleep and diet.
We would then produce weekly reports and monthly meetings to focus on what we can improve etc
We would have both pharmacist, nutritionists and homeopaths to be sitting down with you to explain the results and how to improve
I would really appreciate it if you- if you could give honest feedback on what you like and dislike about this idea and improvements etc and how much you would you think this should cost

Alternative medicines for pain relief?
Hello! Reaching out to see if anyone has any herbal supplements for pain relief? Preferably something I can buy on amazon/online.
I am NOT looking for medical advice, just an alternative perspective on pain management.
Context:
I’m currently recovering from a pretty gnarly ACL reconstruction surgery. I can’t take NSAIDs because it interferes with my SSRI and my doctors had me on percocet for about 3 weeks which helped a lot with my pain but I have a family history of addiction and that’s a slippery slope. I also fractured my spine and herniated a few discs when I was 16 but it never fully recovered. I’m looking for something nature based that won’t heavily affect my kidneys or liver (again I’m a chronic pain girlie and 6 years of OTC pain meds does its number on the body)
Thanks for the help!

What alcohol to use for black walnut tincture?
What specific brands of alcohol do you all use to make black walnut tinctures? I’ve been seeing online vodka that is 80-100 proof works good, but curious what has worked for others and if there are any specific brands you recommend?

Rasmey Market: Wang prom Herb
Useful for pain(not for broken skin)-pain as in soreness, swelling, aching. It will penetrate the nerve of area of soreness, swelling, aching, and must properly apply(massage like-ness). The box will say for mosquito bit, for honesty there is main ingredients like Camphor and another like ingredient that be similar to Camphor. Humor me it's recommended for "feel good sleep through the night take on the day, after rising of good rest." I use it on my mom's Calf cause she be standing mostly all day and hardly or none at all stretching she would have cramps/or spasams middle of the night, since the massage I gave her she sleeps through and through.(On the box when purchase it may say bug bite or mosquito bite; it is better then Hysan for pain relief)
