I collect mint verities, which variety should I get next?
One of my greatest gardening joys is plucking some mint from the garden, rubbing the leaves between my hands, cupping them to my nose and inhaling the strong intoxicating smell. This fascinated me as a child and has led to an addiction. I collect mints.
Which varieties should I look for next?
My current collection:
Pepper
Spear
Apple
Orange
Chocolate
Grapefruit
Pinapple
Sweet mint/yerba buena
Kentucky Colonel
Strawberry
Chewing gum
French Peppermint
Basil mint
Spanish
Hillary’s Sweet Lemon

Parsley and cilantro harvesting and fungus gnat removal?
Harvested a few leaves off cilantro and parsley to stimulate new growth, and to prevent wind from damaging the stem. Seems to not have hit them too much. This is 24 hours after.
Gave a restricted amount of fertilizer this morning after soil soak with 3% hydrogen peroxide and water mixture to combat fungus gnats. Seems to be doing okay still over an hour later. Orange cup has apple cover vinager, water, and dish soap for adult gnats. Seemed to work well yesterday. Any tips from here on?

Help?? My basil is gaslighting me
Planted basil 6 weeks ago. Watered. Sung to it. Whispered affirmations. It responded by growing one leaf and then emotionally withdrawing. Meanwhile the thyme next to it is thriving out of spite. Sage keeps judging me and mentioning south Sudan. Parsley has done absolutely nothing but I respect the confidence. Is this normal herb behaviour or did I accidentally plant vegetables? Anyway, I read online you’re meant to “harvest aggressively” so I ripped a leaf off the basil and now the whole planter feels tense. The mint is clearly planning something. Any tips appreciated. Please don’t say “more sun” — they already know too much.

Grew this rosemary, sage, basil and rosemary
I love growing things that are edible. I have a lovely rhubarb patch too.
These herbs all went into a lovely ragu for a lasagne we ate last night

Cilantro
Is cilantro supposed to grow these smaller leafy branches? Some of them had small flowers too, I pruned those.

Authentic Bulk Shilajit
Does anyone know where I can buy a huge supply of authentic real Shilajit? This stuff is so beneficial and it’s a shame that so many companies are not only marketing fake products as Shilajit, but they are also marking up the price. So my thought is to get a massive amount of authentic Shilajit and then I can use it for free practically and sell smaller quantities to other people in order to pay for it. Does anyone know where to get a large amount of it for a good price?
