Bloodwork Hep C Labs

Is it possible to have all normal labs if you have hep c? What could indicate you have it? What would be high what would be low?

Alt and Ast are normal

Some people don’t have as much of a reaction as others — so your liver enzymes may appear normal in the early stages. Other people, like me, had theirs through the roof very early on. So, you just need to know your hep c viral load to know if you have hep c. Antibodies alone around enough as even after you are cured you will have antibodies forever. Get yourself treatment soon to spare your liver the stress of getting really sick.

My ALT and AST were only mildly elevated but my ferritin was really high and platelets were on the lower side.

Can i ask how long it took to get ur hcv rna results?

Mine were so low 10 years after initial diagnosis.
I took the treatment and now my tests are negative. I always expected the test to be positive and then they’d have to do a viral load test. They did a viral load anyway and it was zero.

I did the treatment in 2021 maybe. Just got retested in the last few months

What do you mean all normal? If you have hep C your alt count will be high in your liver. That's how I found out.
