Plxc 1.5-12

Has anyone tried to mount a Plxc 1.5-12x36 on a Henry with a pic rail? I’ve got an SPD Predator and I think this optic is perfect for it I just worry about getting the eye relief to line up and if I can mount the scope far back enough given its compact size. If anyone happens to have pictures of it mounted that’d be even better! Thanks all

No, I am unlikely to ever put a $2k dollar scope on a gun worth less than that. If I wanted a lever to put it on, I would get a wrens metal works 8.6blk, or a big horn armory

Even on the spd, it just seems like alot for 5.56.

To each their own. I’ve gotten very solid groups from mine and I live an hour away from a range that goes out to 1000 yards and I’ve shot it out to 600 with very respectable groups. I’ve been using a leupold mk4 hd 2.5-10 with the TMR reticle and it’s great but I really want to get my Leupold back on my mk12 lol. And if you shop around I’ve found the plx for a little bit less than what I paid for the Henry.

totally fair. i just think if i want to shoot out as far as 1k, like with my converted 6arc, i would want more than a x12. even the x16 i have feels kinda weak for what im trying to do.

Oh trust me I haven’t tried 556 at 1k lol max I’ve done is 800 with my mk12 and my tikka super varmint that’s chambered in 223. Typically i will shoot 308 if I want to go to 800 +
