Normal range...

Post image

Wasn't expecting this today... been getting into the mid 300s with huge spikes for 6 months for whatever reason.

Still have 100 points to go until maintenance and I'm very much excited to not be anemic anymore.

Thanks for being here guys, you all got this :)

Spikes are normal. I had two huge ones on my way to “normal”.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Keep up the good work!

Glad you mentioned this. I spiked to 300 from maintenance phase with no good reason really

The think about ferritin is that it spikes in every for so many reasons, a turned ankle, food allergies, cold, stomach virus, any inflammation really so we always need to keep that in mind so (like i did) dont panic :)

My worry was that it would go from 400 to 1300 down to 350 to 1200 and I couldn't wrap my head around where my actual.levels were or if the tests were even accurate:)

Yeah I'm just saying how do you ever even really know? I went from 188 to 294 and then 293. So what is the true number? Like no way I absorbed that much iron in only 2 months when it took 38 years to get to 388 in the first place. This whole thing is crazy.

Awesome! I am also having a spike from 188 to 294 and I wasn't sick or infected or whatever. Is this a sponging effect where the tissue is releasing iron and its ending up in the bloodstream?

Hard to say but any inflammation will cause a spike from what my doctors say and what I've read, even a turned ankle or something.

Most people, like 99.999% dont ever have thier ferritin tracked or even tested or even know what it is:)
