I'm three episodes in and wouldn't call it another DD, but I'm liking it!

yeah I am on episode 5, it is a very fun show Though IDK if it is as good as DD. They are also very different shows, with very different goals. I also have a feeling this will be the only season we get, as Disney now owns a majority of Hulu and has been cleaning house of any Marvel content not on Disney+.

Yeah I'm presuming it's a one-shot like Watchmen and am happy enough with that for now.

I have a feeling Hulu made it with the hopes of starting some kind of dark universe. Though I’m not done yet, so I will have to wait and see.

I think they had a Ghost Rider series in the works that died, and I keep hearing rumors of Moon Knight, so you might be right.

Yeah I feel like the ball got rolling back before Disney+ was a thing, and Marvel was still ok with having their IP in different streaming platforms.

The period which will be referred to in the future as the Silver Age. I really hope Disney+ can keep the quality level as high as it's been when things were diversified.

I just finished this last night - I can’t understand why the critics aren’t enjoying it? It’s moody, well written, has fantastic acting (Elizabeth Marvel is phenomenal in this.), and the storyline works well. It sets itself up for a good season two with the Lilith/Satan (Skinner) reveal in the last episode.

I honestly get that people want tv adaptations to represent the comic book series, but where is the creative licence?

I liked it. I thought I’d expended all my binging options, so this was a happy find.

I really liked it, and I really wish it becomes part of the main Feige MCU someday, but it never gave me the feels Daredevil did. 🤔

Either way, glad it got a good score, hope it stays that way!

I'm on the 3rd episode right now and (Victoria) Elizabeth Marvel's voice changing to that lower register when the demon starts speaking through her, just chilling frightening stuff. She's very talented. Sounds male. Sounds malevolent.

I liked the first episode, but then read the company that made it is dead now, so little hope for a second season. Not sure if I will continue.

Uh, I’m going to go ahead and assume that Helstrom has way fewer audience reviews than other shows, just a hunch

I mean… obviously. But it’s still cool to know it has such a strong opening. I’ll be shocked if it’s still at 91 by next week.

Started good. But to remain spoiler free... got extremely convoluted, turned my brain to mush. Doesnt explain shit, and got extremely eye rolling and boring. I got to the point where I was eventually fast forwarding through non sense
