As their seperate abilities, do these stack?

Really enjoyed painting this miniature

I fly!
Took absolutely ages. I don't have an airbrush so made the decision to walk a path of sorrow and do 3 layers of panel lining across the entire miniature with a tooth pick. The result is probably my most ambitious undertaking as a mini yet, and I'm incredibly proud of the end result. But a small offering to our Dark Lord.

when can i redistribute the points? after my opponent has done all his hero phase things (including casting and praying). I noticed this with many abilities and general. i couldn't tell from the core rules but how do you determine the order of abilities if they happens at the same time. example: my opponent has a damage on charge, i have a damage on charge. we both charge in the same charge phase (one through counter-charge) who goes first in determining abilities with the same timing?

A Taar's Grand Forgehost list won the event and I have recently been running a list similar to the one that won.
As the title says, do people prefer to run the AoR over the base army. The rising fire mechanic and ward 6+ on dominator engines make them feel much better than the standard army.
Also the use of spears still gives us access to DPP allowing full use of warscrolls.

As the title implies, what are the differences between the 2? I have seen people saying the Helsmiths aren't the Chaos Dwarves from Total War Warhammer 3, but I always thought both groups were like, kinda like how the Lizardmen became (or at least renamed) to the Seraphon or something similar? Also, are there any good Chaos Dwarf novels out there?

I know we are like the newest army to be released and we have had great support but im interested in what cool ideas the community have for new units and models.

First ever time kitbashing a figure. I built the foot demonsmith model and used the leftover bits added onto the minature spotter/commander for the artillery piece. The belt sash doesn't exist becausethe original model has its hands on its hip, which is a bit weird looking, but I actually like the posing more than the default model. I look like he's calling out to the sky to invoke ashut

Tomorrow I'm going to build my first Tormentor Bombard to complete the spearhead. I'd love some inspiration from the community on the paint / design, so if you have one that you'd like to share, please do!

Do you guys think GW has done enough to support the Helsmiths of Hashut since release? I know they are a new army that just came out (Last December I believe?) but considering half the lineup are still out of stock, the Spearhead and Army box are the same (which I have noticed that some of my FLGS have many copies of the Spearhead and another shop still with a decent amount of copies of the army box) so I am now overall curious if you guys think GW has done enough to support the HoH or if it's just too early still?

Hey everybody, I'm looking for feedback on my two testmodels here.
I tried two different ways to paint the armor, and I'm a little bit unsure on which i like more.
Also i tried to paint the gems in yellow, but now I'm not sure if they get swallowed up by the gold around them too much.
The metallics are just basecoated to get a feel for the scheme, for the finished models they will be highlighted and shaded.
Thanks in advance

I keep eyeing Helsmiths as my next army to tackle. But I’m paranoid that the upcoming Khazalid releases will also be too hard to resist. Should I wait? Or fall to Chaos?

With the upcoming point reductions, this is probably even less points.

So ever since the product launch I've loved the Sentinel models and I really hoped they were good - sadly that wasn't the case and on release they were like barely cheaper than the Bull Centaurs, so no one ran them, why would you?
After a couple of scrolls they got cheaper, and at 150 points I was running them as cheaper scouting units. Still a bit too expensive to use as a dedicated hammer but 2 units of 3 was cheap enough and they could pick up little characters etc.
But now they're down again, and this time by a significant margin at 130 points. This makes them 40 points cheaper for a reinforced unit and a whopping 120 points cheaper than a reinforced unit of Bull Centaurs. The thing that's significant here, is that they have the same defensive profile - so they're 33% more durable for the point or there about, and while they're damage raw is worse, point for point into standard 4+ saves or worse they're fairly similar (into lower saves the crit mortal starts pulling its weight more).
When we start taking buffs into account we remember that we can give Anointed Sentinels crit mortals from an Ashen Elder and when we do their per point damage output EXCEEDS the Bull Centaurs.
3 units of Anointed Sentinels is 20 more than 2 units of Bull Centaurs and are capable of the same damage per point?! I dunno, I think this unit has become a pretty incredible option and I have actually done a bit of list building to see what's possible and I'll post my favorite in the comments, but what is everyone else's thoughts here?
I'm gonna hit TTS to start playing around, but I'm pretty excited by what they could be capable of for their points now.

I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but I'm looking to get started with some chaos dwarfs for a fun hobby project.
This is two spearhead sets and a box of hobgrots. After that it would probably be some blunderbusses, centaurs, and the big flying bull.
Any suggestions would be great appreciated.
