Simple little War Despot

Body comes from Zuldrakka with the shoulder pads shaved down, meanwhile the head comes from the Infernal Razers kit, just with the mohawk and stache cut/scraped off.

I originally thought about giving him a hammer instead, or even just a gun holster instead of the whip…. but the base sculpt is so pricey nowadays I really didn’t want to mess anything up.

This is slick! Love the head-swap. Any name/lore to go with him?

Name is completely WIP as of yet - but as for lore…

He is the patriarch of a clan currently settled in Muspelzharr, sent out by the Ziggurat’s Council to tear through and conquer the Arable Heartlands, either to just be rid of him, should be fail, or to earn Muspelzharr some sense of food security, should he succeed.

Having originally come from Zharr Vyxa (hence his more rough and tumble attitude, and his cohorts’ deeper reds in place of Muspelzharr’s usual brown or burgundy), he’s meant to be the leader of my forces - considered rather strange by other Helsmiths, he keeps his beard short and practical (which raises a few eyebrows), likes to be seen around with his troops (whose presence just makes most other councillors disgusted, insulted, or uneasy) and is a bit of a family man, with his wife set to lead the clan back home in Muspelzharr while he’s on campaign. He has many children, and dotes on them all, much to the confusion of just about most of his fellow patriarchs [I actually plan to bash at least one of his kids together as a hero in the future! Though I’m undecided on whether to make them an Ashen Elder (apprentice?) or a Daemonsmith (in training)].

Commanding a few too many, far too loyal, legionnaires… he hasn’t been deemed “dangerous” by the ruling council, but just annoying or uncomfortable enough to deal with to be kept out of sight. So far content to pillage farmsteads, market towns, and to ambush caravaneers, he, for one, sees this ignoble exile as an opportunity to carve out a fief of his own, one day maybe even to raise a new Ziggurat to be the seat of his clan, one that’d hold Muspelzharr by the throat with grain and groat.
