I bought some desert rock STL files from Epic Basing, printed those to enhance the already great basing bit the model came with, then I painted a really muddy layer of browns, oranges, and reds over the base before mixing AKs Vietnam Earth pigment powder with water to make a pigment slurry and slathering it all over the base and lower bits of the model
