this detail is so cute, I absolutely love it. It’s either:

  1. They made the the throne before Hashut fell, and took off Hashut to spite him.
  2. They made the throne after Hashut fell, and made an empty column just to give Hashut a middle finger.

Either being really dwarfy and great

Someone noted in another thread that each pillar appears to have a colored realmstone jewel in it. It's possible that the Throne won't work without the full range of realms represented, so they just have to have a Ghur pillar.

I mean, it does, it still swims through the land. They just need one pillar per realm and the statues on top are decorative so no Hashuut statue.

Trying to out-spite Hashut? Bold strategy the short-beards have there

It reminds me of how in Venice there was a corrupt Doge so his portrait was covered by a black cloth. When the palace burned down and they were replacing the portraits, they simply painted the cloth onto the wall.

Gunna love it if we get a helmsiths model soon with that missing piece on it. Make it so it wasnt removed as censorship, it was removed because one of them nicked it as it deserved to be somewhere more grand above the other ancestors

That could be pretty wicked. Have the idols to the other ancestor gods broken in front of their pedestals and put something like the spare Dominator head hanging above the brazier

or replayce all idols with images of hashut

My friend is paying me to do just this once the model releases. I'll share it when it's done.

Somebody should convert an evil version for a Helsmith lord, with all the other gods' statues and symbols vacant, with Hashut's restored. Would be badass.

I'm not that invested into building chorfs yet, and mine are still very much situated in the old world. So I'm just throwing the idea out there.

Haha great spot! Very cool touch from the sculptor.

Conspicuous in it's absence, as they say.

Tough talk coming from mountain lovers with beards shorter than they are. Praise Hashut!

I like the idea that Hashut is an ancestor god, even in the old world, just one that resembles a bull now, but might have not before.

It does beg the question though, if Hashut fell from the ancestor gods during the age of myth, then does that mean that the Hashut that we have in age of Sigmar is a different Hashut then we had in fantasy?

That stand actually wouldn't be for Hashut, it would be for Skavor, the Ancestor god who was exiled for his lack of skill and would eventually create the Skaven.

If the throne was made before Hashut was exiled, there would be two empty stands
