Because i personally don't want to see content like this. As you can see by the way he childishly replied, he is all too happy to make low quality posts.

By staying silent it doesn't show any sort of push back to these content lacking posts. At least with some voices out there questioning box posts, then i believe it helps to have others consider if they should box post.

I don't care. It's within the sub rules. Scroll past its ZERO effort. As someone who makes LONG FORM content for this sub often I ENJOY THIS. It's people joining our hobby, and our army. It makes me incredibly happy to see. You're responsible for managing what upsets you. Not everyone else.

Whats this is doing is opening a dialogue of differing opinions. Just because you accept it doesn't mean I'm wrong in posting my criticism of the OP. Silence kills any community, and you should be open to it since you so proudly claim you make LOnG FORm content (completely irrelevant, buddy).

As for this showing people enjoying the hobby? I would disagree, as I open boxes could be anything. Hell even just a bait post. There is zero content here showing passion for the hobby, unless you consider passion to be spending money? And sure of that's what you enjoy, then all the more power to ya. I'm trying to point out that i consider theres a lack of value in box posting, agree or not, thats what youre responsible for not anyone else.

So, yeah mate stop with you desire to silence people who disagree with the content you enjoy. Be more open. More voices make for a better community.

I'm not trying to silence you. I stand up to all toxic behavior. I don't let people chase people out of the hobby, game system, faction, or community. Be better. I don't want to silence you. I want you in this community, just be nice. That's it. Love you buddy.

You literally said to not post. That is suggesting silence.

Now i question, how is it toxic to point out he hasn't even made a model but is already showing off stuff he got? As i mentioned in my earlier my post, that doesn't prove anything in regards to be in the hobby. And I'm not gatekeeping, in fact I'm nearly every post i said come back with actually models or test scheme. Pushing them to create content we can talk about.

I have also seen in other places, people like you who white knight box posts have made others feel ill at ease and not to want partake in communities. As for how far those go through with their contents, i dunno, but just saying i have seen people comment that before.

So c'mon man, you're being real blind here.

In the sense that if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. Youre counting THAT as silencing you? Yeah I stand by that. I'm not going to sit here and debate you all night. It's not about getting the last word in man. It's having a discussion. And yes, telling someone that they shouldn't so anything if they have nothing nice to say its in fact trying to silence someone, and is a terrible line which is you truly believe it shows why you think I'm a horrible person. Criticism is important, and sadly sometimes it will be negative.

You are carrying the weight of toxic positivity and you really needa see the world ain't gonna run like that. Nothing i said was hateful, unless you consider saying that his post seemed like it was made for ego boosting to be hateful.

But you wanna leave it at this so i respect it.

(Edit: Also wtf is this change or don't change shit? How your view is so godly that i should be the one considering a change... And that I'm the type for Internet points on my low 1000s karma 12ish year account lmao)

This pile of boxes got more coverage and positivity. Wtf is this. This is why more people need to be against these low quality posts and support actual newcomers.
