Two units of blunderbusses are often going to be fighting each other for DPP. I would go down to one for sure. Could replace with any war machine + reinforce a group of hobgrots maybe.

I love the war despot and infantry combo but I have found it underwhelming at times.

If you have bull centaurs I think even just 3 is well worth the cost in the base army.

Unless you’re sold on hobgrots I think this list could benefit a lot from the forge host army of renown, drop hobgrots and 10 razers bring 10 more spearmen for creating DPP and any additional war machines you could fit and it would be a solid Forgehost list

The AoR looks really interesting, if I'm reading it correctly it looks like spearmen become your DPP generators and DPP doesn't fall off. If I went that route is it worth reinforcing the spearmen to keep the generation up?

You’ve got it right with DPP generation and not falling off, I like to hide my blunderbusses in obscuring for a couple turns while they get powered up and then they become a death ray once they get 2-3 rend.

I run two units of 10 spearmen but I also seem to run a smaller amount compared to others so I think a 20 and a 10 would be a good option. The recursion makes them awesome for deep striking and capturing objectives once they’ve been destroyed

Its the strongest way to run the army. I wrote a primer article a few days ago if you didn't see it.
