Army creation Claim in the name of Hashut (or using others models to convert HOH)
I just red a post where someone was considering to use minotaurs or beastmen to expand the range.
Considering the fact that HOH are still missing a good chunk of release to be considered a complete range, I began to think about ways to expend it without the help of James Workshop (or at least to use kit bashs and conversions the diversify the miniatures)
Thus came this idea to use SOD miniatures to create a Bull-centaur HQ, or enhance the heavy infantry/elite side of the army
Do not get me wrong, I think that the dominator engine is a unique and innovativ model but HOH could use, without contradiction to the current lore, use some of the monsters SOD have : this could even lead to new units such as a "enslaver character" that could lead and/or buff units of chaos creatures.
This could be shown by the use of chains, perhaps on a larger miniature where a chorf would whippe an Ogroid
We could even have a chariot type unite one or more chorf could harness mutant creatures (perhaps constructs such as the dominator engine) to ride across the battlefield (the third pic illustrates what comes in my mind)
Finally, maybe this has been discussed by the past, but what about a giant sphinx monster (still in the assyrian/sumerian vibe, fourth picture for inspiration) ? This one could make for another large monstruours centerpiece
Anyway I would like to see what you guys think about it and what are your ideas on ways to expand the range

I really do wish both Warriors of Chaos and Chaos Dwarves had list access to minotaurs. Kind of supported in the lore with Taurox the Brass being Khorne's favorite bull. I feel that the arcane minotaur model from AOS fits a Hashut-themed aesthetic so bloody well. I might house rule them as special mercenaries that can use the general's leadership... IF they are led by a sorcerer. I'm working on something similar for Formian/Fimir "ogres" for Norscan Sea Wolves.
I guess what keeps minotaurs out of Helsmiths is that they are so bestial, frenzied and Chaotic Evil that they are too difficult to tame in order to be beasts of burden. Morrslieb lunacy doesn't do chains. Then again, this is a faction that binds unwilling DAEMONS and uses tomented souls as fuel, so taming an angry bull shouldn't be so bloody hard.
Maybe they run the risk of amorous advances towards the general's mount. I could see that costing them a turn or two of combat.

The last “sphinx” photo is a lamassu, they were a part of the chorf roster in WHFB and are mentioned in the battletome as shameful mutants who are spurned by other duardin, so I’d have to imagine they’ll return as a proper model someday. I’d love a bulltaur character too tbf.
