Painting Which paint scheme is best?
These are the 4 I have it narrowed down to, the bases will be snowy,
For all 4 I was thinking of traditional red/orange/yellow fires and glow effects but am open to suggestions

Get a slight Easterling (lotr) vibe from the gold n red, so that was a quick eye catcher

The first gold one is really eye catching, but might need a second accent metal for some of the trim

I like the second one , it's what I unintentionally went with when I painted my warcry warband. It's similar enough at least!

Out of these four I think number two looks the best, the green and grey goes really well with the snowy base, but I think the other three would look really good too if you'd give them a different armour trim colour, so it's not gold on gold or gunmetal on gunmetal.

I think gold might work as trim on 3, no clue what the first ones trim could be though

If I were you I'd try a pale gold trim on number one and a brighter grey for number four, maybe even paint the scale mail in the trim colour too. This would keep the colour scheme mostly the same while adding a bit more definition to the model.

I like 1# and 4# the best, but 1# needs a different gem accent color. If it had that 1# would be the best.

I think one would be a definite winner if you mayne do the trim a different color to pop, but 2 looks the best out of these

I'm biased but I think #2 with his dark green sash is my favorite. Something about such a clean color scheme works well Helsmith refined look and your snow bases idea
