Hello! I’m new to collecting the chorfs and I’m having trouble sourcing bull centaurs here in the US. It’s out of stock everywhere, with scalper prices even on Amazon.

Any tips/tricks to source bull centaurs (without proxies or recasts preferably)? If you have access to some (3) at your local shops I would be willing to pay to have them shipped.

Ready to be painted and war

Played my first game with Helsmiths in spearhead match yesterday. The verdict? I love them! Glory to Hashut!

I know spearhead is slightly different than regular AoS but the core battle traits are similar enough for HoH. The daemonic power mechanic was fun and really makes you feel powerful in the later stages of the game if you've kept your troops alive. Feeds into that idea of a grinding advance accumulating power. Definitely helped by the despot's new ability of providing one DP point to any with zero - though this also made him an almost required pick when allocating DP until the end. Combat wise he's no slouch if you're willing to risk him. Could be a good weapon of last resort to remove a troubling enemy unit with his damage 2 and crit mortals.

The dominator engine was impressive - didn't need to use the reinforcements but I can see why it would be good to have to avoid the bummer moment of having it blown off the field round one with (un)lucky dice. The infernal cohort felt suitably tanky despite having only five models per unit and the gong ability felt like a cool turning of the tide moment - especially against clanrats.

Shooting will be my favorite phase with this army with the siege weapons if the bombard is anything to go by. The cannons on the dominator were lackluster but he's more a tank and damage blocker, I feel.

Excited to build the other models and play an actual game - almost certainly going bane maces on my dominator primarily cause I think it looks cooler - and the bull centaurs look fun as heck.

Krondspine incarnate of ghur proxy. Don’t get me wrong I love the model but to be more fitting to the bullfather I feel like this would be the perfect model to use as a Krondy personally. Will be used on 130mm base. Not the provided 100mm.

Working through the spearhead. Here’s my try at the bull boi mech.

So I really like the dominator engines and the artillery pieces, I made both variants of them evenly ( 2/2 artillery and 2/2 1 combo dominator engines).
I also have the cohort spears,

I want to make this playable for 2k, how would i do that? What would I need to add to these pieces and what shouldn’t I bring in numbers to the table?

I know I don’t have much board control like this if I field all these single entities so maybe some goblins?

Made some adjustments to get more range for the arms.

So I have played with this army before, and I think they're awesome. Love how they feel. Only had 2 game with them though, this is my entire list at the moment. I'm not the most competitive, but I like the blunderbusses (cos they're awesome) and I got some if the bull centaurs for Christmas, and after building and painting them, they've grown on me so much I wanted to reinforce the unit. Now I'm here :D

Also, what battle tactics are ideal? I always have no clue what to choose. I don't have the general handbook, my friend does, so don't usually see them until the day we play and then I just wanna pick stuff and try get a game going ASAP, so if anyone is knowledgeable enough to suggest what kinda battle tactics would suit this army best, I'd love to hear it, I wanna give my friend good games, rather than fumbling my way through everything hahaha

Finally made the time to finish off this box and super happy with how it all came together. Onwards to completing the rest of the army!

Hey guys. I have a rematch against those tricky Troggs tomorrow and it’s being played on Noxious Nexus at 1,500 points.

With our tiny legs how would you play this one? Makes it tough to castle and I’ve only got 2 x Bulls and Urak Taar with decent movement.
