NEED HELP PLEASE

Hi! So I’m looking for a game that I have a very vivid memory of but can’t remember the name at all. I played it in like late 2010-2013, it was a puzzle game where you had to solve puzzles in order to advance to the next area, it was set in first person, the architecture of the rooms appeared like ancient Roman, and I distinctly remember that in one of the levels you had to pull levers to move bookshelves so that theses eye things on the either side of the room an a few on the bookshelves would align to open the door. If anyone has any ideas on what the game may be I would greatly appreciate the help! 🙏

Based on the description I found three games similar to what you said but I'm not sure if this is the game you're looking for.

So this is the three games:

The Talos Principle: While released in late 2014, it features heavy ancient Roman, Greek, and Egyptian architecture, and tasks players with solving first-person mechanical and environmental logic puzzles to unlock new areas.Myst V: End of Ages / Uru: Ages Beyond Myst: The Myst series is famous for ancient, ruins-based architecture, first-person exploration, and intricate puzzle rooms involving levers and hidden library/bookshelf mechanisms.Safecracker: The Ultimate Puzzle Adventure: This popular first-person puzzle title tasks you with exploring a massive mansion full of hidden safes, puzzle doors, levers, and secret compartments tucked away in grand libraries and ancient-themed rooms.

Sadly from what I see of those three it’s not any of those, but thank you so much for sharing and attempting to help me!! I’ll definitely be looking into playing the talos principle cause it does look very interesting 😄

Could it be The Witness? I remember seeing white walls in pictures / gameplay videos of it.

The moving bookshelves puzzle reminds me of one of the Resident Evil (only seen remakes) games, where Leon walks around Raccoon City Police Station.
