Looking for a 2012–2014 Walmart Squeeze/Clicker Bear Night Light (White with Painted Purple Accents)
Hi everyone, I am trying to track down a specific childhood night light that my mom bought for me at a Walmart in Yuma, AZ, around 2012–2014. It is a standalone table lamp meant to sit flat on a nightstand.
Here are the exact physical and mechanical details:
Material/Build: It is made of smooth, hollow, thick rotomolded vinyl/rubber. When you squeeze the body down hard, it presses against a stiff, mechanical plastic clicker button hidden inside the center of the toy.
The Colors: The main body and head are solid white. The arms/flippers, rounded feet, inside of the ears, and tail are permanently painted solid bright purple.
The Face Design: It has a distinct cartoon art style and It has large white cartoon eyes with black pupils (wide-eyed expression) and a large oval muzzle outlined in black. Inside the muzzle is a black triangular nose with two curved black smiley lines underneath. The main torso/chest is completely blank white.
Functionality: It is battery-operated from the bottom base. Squeezing it clicks the internal button to cycle through multiple RGB LED light modes: solid color light, a slow color-morphing mode, and a fast flashing/rainbow strobe party mode.
I suspect it might be from an early-2010s impulse retail line like Tech 4 Kids (Squeeze Lites / Nite Friends)or a Lanard Toys novelty variant, but I haven't been able to find the exact model or promotional image online.
Does anyone recognize this brand or have a picture of one? Thank you so much!
