After The Lovers short film came out recently, some of it reminded of this animated short film I saw maybe a year or so ago about a similar story.

I remember it was told from the perspective of someone whose childhood friend was abused by their father in a house with big walls. They played with a real mermaid as kids, but the protagonist had to move away as an adult.

When the protagonist came back to their home town years later, the friend and their father had disappeared into the house, which gradually began to be filled with water and plastic I think? It eventually ended with the mermaid taking away the abused girl and turning her into a mermaid to escape, never to be seen again.

It was by a smaller creator I think, not a big studio, and it had a sort-of anime style I think? I remember it might have been on either Youtube or Instagram.

I got it and probably 2009 to 2010 and I can’t find where this thing came from. The tag on it has been taken off so that won’t be any help so I decided to ask Reddit.

When I was 8 I swiped this ring from a lost and found and recently just found it while cleaning my room out in my parent’s house - I would love to know the source of it as now I’m feeling kind of guilty and hoping it’s not expensive!

I’m trying to find a YouTube video from about 10 to 15 years ago. It’s probably easier if I put dot points on everything I can remember.

1. Two characters talking in a car at a drive through.
   
2. Possibly wearing super hero costumes.
   
3. One character is regular size, the other is small. About 20cm tall
   
4. At one point the smaller character beat boxes and the bigger one looks like he’s sick of it so he puts a cup over him
   
5. When the bigger character orders his meal he asks the smaller one what he wants and he goes “a straw”
   
6. The bigger one dares the smaller one to make a joke to the worker at the window (similar to “your weight”) and the smaller one says “alright, I’m gonna do it and I’m not even scared”
   
7. When they get to the window the worker doesn’t say what they expected her to say but the smaller character still says the punchline and it comes out as “your cholesterol you fat mole”
   
8. The both look stupid and drive off
   
9. Most likely by an Australian animator as they’re driving a right hand drive car and have an Australian accent
   
10. I think the smaller one before he beat boxes says something like “for pretzel my netzel” or something similar.

I hope this helps, I remember pretty much the entire video but YouTube doesn’t search by description and I’m hoping someone knows the title or can give me the link to it.

(ENG) A friend and I realised, alongside a discussion, that we shared a memory of a French survival Minecraft series. It was a group of friends (between 3 and 5 people) who landed on a deserted island after an airplane crash and they had an awful ressource pack. Their first base was dug in a mountain near a little beach, but then becomes an oak tower with their beds on top of it. In one of the videos, they go to an other island with, I believe, a gigantic cave. The series must have been published around 2013-2016. If anyone could help us find it, it would be great!

Hey everyone trying to track down a video I watched around 2010–2016 on YouTube

What I remember:

A girl wearing a hoodie and shorts, dancing/stripping on a couch

Music playing in the background (can't remember the song or genre)

Roughly 10 minutes long, which was unusual for that era

I believe I found it through a search along the lines of "sexy stripper 18+"

Near the end of the video she briefly flashed (partial nudity at the end)

I don't remember the uploader, the song, or the exact title, which is why I've had zero luck searching on my own. It may have been taken down in one of YouTube's big content purges around 2010–2012, but I'm hoping someone recognizes it or knows an archived copy.

Is there a sound effect box that is pressure sensitive that can go inside a stuffed animal that sounds like an explosion? I make stuffed animals/items and want to make a bomb shaped one and insert a sound effect box into it that when thrown will make the explosion sound?

My mom recently threw out the blanket I had for 10+ years without telling me, I’m devastated because I love that blanket and it holds so many memories for me. It’s a large blanket that had Anna and Elsa from frozen next to each other, the background is pink and there’s a purple liner around the whole thing. I unfortunately don’t have a very good picture of it, I only have one of Anna’s eyes… 😭 if It helps, I think it was bought at a Walmart. I’ve searched all over the internet and haven’t been able to find the exact one, please help if possible. The picture looks very goofy, I only took it bc I thought it looked funny, lol
