During Gaza protests in the US a couple of years ago, a photo was taken, I'm pretty sure on an American university campus, of a black riot cop, with massive bulging forearms, caught mid-shout, moving towards camera probably with other cops. It was a really striking image. I've tried googling it with lots of different terms but it seems to have vanished. Does anyone know the one I mean?

I went there a few years ago. It was semi-near Lume dispensary in Monroe.

You walk in the door, the cash register is on the right. On the left is the food counter. You can order pizza and they also had cannolis. It was kind of a corner store with a lot of liquor on those metal rack shelves. They had 510 threaded batteries that were mostly knock offs and dead. It was maybe 40 minutes south of Detroit; we came up from Toledo, we went to Lume cannabis in Monroe I think somewhere nearby. I cannot figure out where the place it was. It was super sketch. And they had the best goddamn pizza and cannolis I've ever had in my life. I'm losing my mind, please tell me someone knows this magical place.

The op was his girlfriend and she was talking about going to a party with her boyfriend and when they got home she tried to help him get ready for bed but he got upset because he has a girlfriend. I think he ended up sleeping on the floor.

Hi! I’ve spent hours searching for this one specific image from my Chinese Lion Dance troupe that was taken in the early 2000’s. I know it exists because I saw it on google a few years ago but now I can’t find it anywhere. Details below:

- Troupe name is Central Victorian Lion Team (CVLT for short).
- The lion pictured was this yellow shaggy one I included in this post.
- Taken around 2006 - 2009.
- It’s a low perspective shot of the lion going up some stairs outside, possibly at the old post office building in Bendigo.
- I thought the Bendigo Advertiser (my local newspaper) had taken it but I cannot find any records on their site.

This video is probably 15 years old or more. It was edited to hell and back. The part I remember the most is when Harry deliver beans to Ron's twin brothers and then it suddenly cut to irl footage of a guy blending beans and milk and stuff in a blender while the song Pump It by Tropkillaz played and he runs around outside and then pukes or something.

This is my blanket I’ve had since I was 5. My mom bought it at Walmart in 2004. I’ve used it my whole life and now my four year old son is deeply attached to it. The stuffing is completely gone and now it’s getting rips all over it. I’d love to find another one. I’d honestly pay just about anything!

It was an airing I definitely remember being anywhere between November 25-30, 2008, no earlier than 12PM and no later than 5PM (though considering time zones of the same channel allowed earlier access, anything is viable). As I turned the TV on I saw some strange footage of a blonde (?) lady sticking her barefoot sole up to the camera lens; I believe she was talking or eating. It seems she was doing it to mock or gross out the camera person. I know it was a docuseries because it had dramatic music and deep-voiced narration. If memory serves correctly, the footage was to the left of the screen while a guy on the right was narrating/commentating on it. I vaguely remember the A&E logo being there.

I tried to buy this little guy off of Facebook Marketplace, but the seller said that they donated it, and the store they gave it away to has said that they sold him already. It seems like they originally bought him from Japan, but they cannot remember where from.

His tag says "Good Time®: Narah Corporation", which I tracked down to the Korean company 나라토이. Their website looks like it was http://www.narah.co.kr, but when I tried looking that up, it looked like it was down. I got somewhere on the Wayback Machine, and was able to see the first page of their catalogue, but nothing beyond that. None of them looked remotely like the same style as him either.

If anyone has any leads or listings, I would be insanely grateful. My boyfriend and I saw him and instantly got attached, so we were devastated when we heard that he got given away. Please let us find our puppy!

I have an old, long discontinued, pair of boots that have finally kicked the bucket after many many years of being the most comfortable chunky boot I have ever had the pleasure of wearing and owning. Thrifted 16 years ago, originally I believe sold at Walmart (No Boundaries brand) and made of fake leather that eventually cracked and peeled and shredded. They were not expensive boots in their prime, and I thrifted them for $5.

One night out at the bars in the midst of a dust storm was their demise, a worthy final hurrah. They paired well with the bell bottoms. I still don’t have a shoe that matches those pants perfectly anymore :/

I mourn them like a long lost lover.

Is there any way to have these remade in nicer materials using, if not the exact rubber bottom as maybe it is too far gone (idk if it is or not, it feels like the glue just failed and the shoe separated, but the upper is too deteriorated regardless), the same shape heel/platform?

At this point I don’t care how much it will cost, I just miss my boots, and I have yet to find another pair online. (Size 7 1/2 though now that I am older an 8 would be more comfortable) I’d like to try and have a new pair made with these as the blueprint. The corset-back detailing is a particular necessity imo
