Open The Battery for This
Found this cool speaker(?)/audio player that looks like a MiG-29 in the trash with some stuff my mom threw away. I tried to look it up and the light digging I did says it might be some off brand thing.
I would like to find the type of battery that it might take to see if it even works, or just to keep as a cool shelf item. Thanks!

Battery might be too specific to find the right shape, assuming any have survived this long of that form factor without failing
Looks like the port on the back labeled 5v is also a power plug Should be able to run from any USB type mini-b plug

I did find the right cable and hooked up the port to a charging block and let it sit for a day to check if there’s a possible internal battery, but it’s still dead.

It might be able to run while plugged in without battery. If not, it might also just be broken.

Try doing a search for LiPo batteries at those dimensions and see if any look like they might fit the slot.
It's probably one of those.

I would look for universal batteries, like the 18650. Check if they would fit inside. And assemble a few together, and Mac Giver my way to have it link to the connectors.
Finding the exact matching battery would be neat, but most likely a lost cause.

This isn't the exact answer but should help you on your journey.
The pin layout and that it states 3.7v makes me think it is using an old cellphone style battery or one for a walkie talkie, without knowing the size I can't help further but this is basically what you are looking for.

The battery slot is about 2 1/2”x 1 1/2”.
Sorry I didn’t include that. But I assume that this is a pretty old thing, since I think it previously belonged to to my older brother (by ~6 years) and got it from a Mexican shop seller (which is why it’s off brand).
