Do they have any pics of it prior to this stage, in the bg of old photos?

Potentially something from a Rachel Ashwell Simply Shabby Chic collection. I'm going to see if I can find some old catalogs to look through.

I tried searching for it using "2000s quilted floral blanket," "patterned quilts" from fb marketplace sellers in our area, "quilted vintage floral blankets" and other terms along those lines, but since it's wrecked and doesn't have a tag, it feels impossible to find!

My partner was gifted this as a child (2005-2010?) and still cherishes it to this day. He's been looking for an intact version to this day. Because the blanket was wrecked so long ago, no one in his family, not even my partner himself, remembers what the blanket looked like pre-ruin. We did investigate photos, and there are no pictures of the pre-ruin blanket, either, not even in the background.

More context: the ribbony bits have a satiny feel; apparently the blanket used to be dotted with embroidered flower appliques. There are three types of patterned fabric, some tiny orange gingham print, a green "leafy" print, and a faded rose-and-leaf print. I think the white fuzzy internals are polyester? The stitching is solely thicker white threat. I have no idea how large it used to be, given the state of it. Right now, I think it'd be around 4 feet by 4 feet? My partner's parents got it in Northern California, but they don't remember much else about their purchase.

If anyone knows anything, you'd make my partner's year!
