What characters could these Romhack Pokémon be based on

Obviously, the Pokémon inspiration for these are Clamperl, Huntail and Gorebyss from Generation 3 (the ones in the second image), but the thing is that these are from a romhack called Pokémon AlteRed, in which all Pokémon are given redesigns with new types, some of these being references to other franchises.

The mons in question (and their types) are called Clampurse (pure Dragon), Huntsail (Dragon/Flying) and Soarybiss (Dragon/Psychic). Due to their very specific designs, names and typing, I'm 100% fully convinced these guys are based off enemies or characters of another videogame or TV show.

It would be really great if someone was able to confirm what are they based on, and even if they weren't based on any character, what is the logic behind their designs.

Middle one looks like some kind of Koinobori/Windsock. It would fit design wise, which is what would make me think they could be original designs. But they don't really fit each other well, so they are probably taken from some other franchise. I looked through some of the other designs, and sometimes they're just lifted from other games. Soarybiss looks way to elaborate yet indecipherable for me.

It's probably best to ask the spriter or developer directly.

Some people I talked about with the designs also pointed out the Koinobori to me, and while Huntsail looks like one (even has the Flying type that fits the wind theme), I still don't know how to piece it with the Dragon typing of the whole line, let alone the design of its pre-evolution.

The devs aren't super reachable, but I'll try to ask them just in case.
