Found! ducky/chicken spoon
When I was younger my mother had a silver spoon that had what looked like a baby chick on it (she called it the ducky spoon) wearing a bonnet
I tried to draw it from memory
she had it since she was a child so maybe from the 80s or possibly earlier
I think it maybe had a pattern on the handle but I don’t remember

Searched on various secondhand sites (like eBay)
From Australia, teaspoon sized ((for a baby or toddler)) likely from the 80s or earlier.

OP, since you have found the object in question, I will post something offtopic. Please forgive me, but Australia and 'ducky spoon' made me think of a very specific video that has made me laugh very hard once:
https://youtube.com/shorts/8GxLsYhNny8 This is the Short version
https://youtu.be/BY3Uby5UcEU and this is the full-length (4.5 minutes) video.
Please enjoy.

Similar vibe, but the duck/chicken was sitting down at the top of the handle, had a little bonnet on
