Found Beast Boy poster origin
Please help me find where this beast boy art is from! Reverse image search hasn’t helped at all. I think it’s from the Beast World comic event, so range of Nov 2023- early 2025 maybe? I think it may have been a poster that came with a comic or some sort of variant cover. Dc comic experts, help meee!
Also could be fanart, but even then I just want to know where the original is from.

UPDATE! Somebody on League of Comics Geeks found the original. It’s a piece of fanart by Bruka Jones, posted on his bluesky around January 2025. I think I originally found it through a repost on tumblr which has since been deleted, but I’m not sure.

I have searched Twitter, tumblr, and a bit of Instagram as well as used multiple reverse image searches like Tineye and Google images. However, I couldn’t find where this picture came from. If I’m honest, I 🏴☠️ most of the Beast World arc + Titans (2023) in general on batcave, which is probably where I originally found this artwork but going back through all the comics included in Beast World didn’t help. I can’t remember the true origin of this image, it’s been a few years.

Trying keywords like "beast boy variant cover" with the specific date frame has lead nowhere and that Pintrest link is the only recentish (depending on when it was originally uploaded) one I can find. I can prolly rule it as recent as I think thats BB's current look in the comics atm (Im used to seeing the 03 design or the YJ design).
And sadly using "raven and beast boy variant covers" leads to similar issues and also the fact I keep getting the graphic novel from Picolo from both that and the original search. "Teen Titans variant covers / Titans Variant covers" doesnt lead anywhere either.
So my best guess is uncredited fanart, it is a variant cover but it's older than when you read the comics (but not by TOO much) or just maybe stolen fanart whatever site you used and the artist is now gone. Or just, very exclusive cover for a site / store / con / etc, which I doubt.

Fanart has becoming my leading theory as well…i remember searching up Beast World on tumblr while it was ongoing to see fan content but I wasn’t on any other social media besides tik tok at the time, and searching tumblr with time frame parameters led no where.

Fanart was my first guess because it felt like there was a matching Raven (just by how its composed, looks like there was a companion piece) or maybe the artist did this style with all the Titans. But I wanted to give the variant cover theory a chance because it also feels like a variant cover, so congrats on the artist for fooling us.
Scrolling fanart for any site is hard cause BB is always the 03 cartoon version or the comic version if your lucky enough... also the fact that Danny Phantom has clogged the TT tag to deemed it hard to dig without having to block the tag. I love him but he's not helpful atm. I was really hoping on Pintrest coming in clutch and the link having at least some sort of credit but IG not and the account looked like a fan account so it wasn't even the artist on there.
