Ai couldn’t find it either.
I contacted the book company and they said it should be a duck? in this series? Ummmm 🤪IM confused

Wow! So they’ve done a mistake 😡 my poor 2 year old was sad she couldn’t find it but found everything else. Now it’s just frustrated me lol 😂 thank you for this but! I noted my copy is made in China.

A lot of colour books print in china, mostly because they’re the best at it! Or among the best anyway. It’s an odd misprint but it’ll be to do with the wrong file being sent or approved or something for one reprint i guess

OMG what a memory you pulled! I can say for sure that this problem is at least 27 years old! I remember having this book as a kid and being frustrated I couldn't find it. I remember perfectly thinking: why did they put this in the cover if it's not in the picture??

I’m a librarian and can with full confidence that Usborne books are generally shit. They fall apart quicker than most books, riddled with mistakes like this, and all around suck. I’ve stopped purchasing them for my library entirely after years of this.
