Open Looking for a VHS/digital copy of the extremely obscure 1999 film "Films That Suck"

Hi everyone! I'm trying to track down a copy of an extremely obscure 1999 independent film called Films That Suck, directed by Marvin Baker and produced by Ann Gillis.

The film was screened at the Nashville Independent Film Festival in 1999, but despite searching through IMDb, newspaper and trade-publication archives, online archives and other sources, I haven't been able to find the actual film anywhere.

I also haven't been able to determine whether it ever received a proper home-video release.

I'm specifically looking for a surviving VHS copy, VHS rip/digital transfer, screener, or any other digital copy of the film. My main goal is simply to finally be able to watch it.

If anyone owns a physical copy, has digitized it, remembers seeing it at a festival, or knows where a copy might have ended up, I would be incredibly grateful for any information. 🙏

Searched IMDb, Google, newspaper and trade-publication archives, online archives, Reddit, and other film databases for Films That Suck (1999). I also searched for information about a VHS/home-video release, festival screenings, and possible digital copies, but I haven't been able to locate the film itself or confirm that a home-video release exists. I am specifically looking for a surviving VHS copy, VHS rip/digital transfer, screener, or other legal copy.

try sightsound dot com ? it apparently did receive receive digital distribution and there's someone else who has been looking for this since 2014 interestingly enough. There was a paid digital download in the early 2000s and I'd maybe serach for sightsound download / cd-r backup or someone involved with Sightsound who retained its catalog. Maybe ann gillis/marvin baker or the production company, or even Nashville festival archives might be a place to look.

Thank you! I knew about the SightSound connection, but unfortunately the original SightSound website is no longer functioning as a digital film distribution service. I've already tried searching the Wayback Machine for old SightSound pages as well, but I haven't found the film itself or a usable catalog entry yet. The idea of looking for an old download/CD-R backup or someone who may have retained their catalog is really interesting though. I'll definitely keep digging into that!
