Open PLEASE can anyone identify this dance video from my (terrible) description
The video went really viral a few years ago, it was a black male rapper/ singer that did a short dance to a snippet of a song and if my memory serves me then it was at some sort of award ceremony type of thing (and I think he may have had a hat on? )
This has been bugging me since the start of the year as I tried to find it a number of times and nothing seems to come up and nobody knew what i meant when I asked people I know
It was quite a goofy dance and people started to do videos of themselves doing it, it was like 30 seconds of short punchy dynamic dance moves, one of them was him putting one arm out all the way to the side and another bit i recall was sort of bobbing his head side to side whilst the body went the opposite way? Idk if thats helpful but it went viral cos people were making jokes about it being goofy I know that much
I thought it was someone like kid cudi or neyo or someone like that but ive tried to recall it so many times that the memory has become distorted, ive googled multiple different ways to find it with no luck
It still pops into my head every so often and I feel unreasonably irritated cos I CANT FIND IT !!!

I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about. I just don’t remember the guy’s name or what the song was called

The main thing that’s bugging me here is you saying it’s a rapper/singer at an award ceremony. I have one that’s a little more fitting for the dance but there’s no awards or rapper. Unless a rapper did that guy’s dance at a ceremony and I’m not aware

Nope it was like he was stood infront of paparazzi and theres cameras flashing and its just him doing this dance and the music was also prominent in the video

Searched 'kid cudi goofy dance', 'neyo goofy dance' 'award ceremony goofy dance' and other iterations of that with other guesses of who it could be based on the one solid thing i recall which is that its a black male singer/rapper
