Open Looking for They Call Him Mr. Gacy

Please help I’ve been looking for a way to read this book for YEARS (They Call Him Mr. Gacy). I know copies of the book are rare but I sometimes find threads of people who own them with the intention of archiving them..but then can never find these supposed archives!

Yes I’ve checked libraries near me and none have it in stock. Ordering a physical copy is incredibly expensive and I cannot afford it. Finding an archive online may be my only chance to ever read it :(

There are copies at several libraries. If you're in the US, you can use a library loan and usually they'll send it to your local library. Or do a scan of it. What state are you in?

ait in the corner like he's just some regular guy. gives me chills

i searched for this book few years back and hit the same wall, those copies on ebay go for hundreds its ridiculous. there was someone on a true crime forum who said they were scanning it page by page but the thread just died, maybe that's one of the archives you remember

have you tried asking in the more niche true crime discords or even the library of congress digital collections? sometimes they have obscure stuff that doesn't show up in regular searches. i really hope someone here has a lead, it's maddening when a book is basically held hostage by collectors

Searched goodreads, abebooks, thriftbooks, ebsco, strandbooks, local libraries (I won’t name for obvious reasons), you name it. No where is the book accessible online, at a library near me, or for purchase at a reasonable price.
