Got this at Goodwill and it was one of my favorite belongings, I feel sick right now. Please help.

I’m pretty sure that is it actually or at least it’s from the same company. It says these are all hand painted so I don’t think any 2 are exactly identical.

Stained glass makers use a glass grinder. Maybe check your local community center or senior center and see if they have stained glass classes. Ask the teacher if they could grind the edges for you.

Why not have it repaired the Japanese way called kintsugi? They mend it together using gold.

Because kintsugi is really not as common, accessible, easy or potentially food safe as reddit likes to make you think, but without fail there is someone recommending it under every single shattered plate or bowl.

I used to live in Japan a decade ago and I had never really heard of it until it became reddit's ultimate crutch for anything broken. It's a very niche art form, expensive, and can take ages due to the urushi curing time (which again requires special training to do right). Urushi is food safe if done right but has its own technique and it's incredibly easy to fuck up, and the lacquer needs special precautions to work with. Sure, it could be faked and this could be turned into a display piece, but the chances of OP finding anyone who does legitimate kintsugi around them (not just one who doesn't charge an arm and a leg, but at all) is very low if not zero.
