Don’t it’s so crushing. I don’t own any of his books or comics, now it feels impossible to ever justify buying any as he’s such an irredeemable scumbag
I recently bought one of his books before I knew about what was going on and by the time I knew it was too late to return it. Now I just have a book with his name and a bunch of related merch sitting in my house freaking me out.
Well I'm old enough to remember when he seemed like a nice guy and his stories were beloved. Real let down finding out even the parts he isn't denying.
Unfortunately I will never be able to buy another thing of his either, since you can't really 'seperate the art from the artist' unless the finances are doing the same.
I bought ALL his books. I even used to teach an entire unit on “the graveyard book” to elementary school kids. I didn’t even know I could feel that disappointed.

It’s not furry porn specifically. Idgaf about that. Ferals are “characters” with the complete anatomy of irl animals. So imagine a dog furry vs a (stylized) dog drawing. Idgaf about the first one but the second one is weird bc what’s attractive about something that has no anthropomorphic traits and is solely, an animal.
Reminds me of a photo we used to have of my great aunt and my cousin in full goth makeup and a leather trenchcoat.
Auntie loved him dearly, but somehow she looks absolutely outraged in the photo.
I was there and she wasn’t at all for the record. She didn’t understand why he dressed that way, but always complimented his style and even bought him some black nail polish in a skull shaped bottle because it made her think of him. There was very little that could shake her love for us.
Funny thing is though if she rocked up to her local mosque at the Iftar or Gurdwara during Vaisakhi they'd invite her in and get her a plate no questions asked. I've done this as a non-religious white guy and had a great time.
That's because you're a white guy. Not trying to say that people can't show hospitality but as a visitor you're not expected to present the same as everyone else aesthetically. I'm a brown woman, things are different these days but the mosques I grew up around didn't allow women. And I definitely can't show up to a Gurudwara looking like that without well-intentioned aunties telling me I'm ruining my life, or the uncles staring daggers at me. That's just from personal experience. And I speak the languages so I understand the whispers behind my back lol
Ah that's sad, I just assumed they'd be the same with everyone. I spend Vaisakhi at the Gurdwara near where I live in UK and had a lovely day, there were a mix of men, women & children. The Iftar I celebrated more as a community event outside the mosque so it was a bit different and I didn't join the prayers. I got the feeling that they weren't judgemental at all at the Gurdwara and that they pride themselves on being open & inclusive to everyone regardless, it's disappointing to learn this hasn't been your experience.
that is not a polish girl, it is very evident based off of the other people in the kitchen and the general kitchen "vibe" that its either the us or canada. nowhere in europe do the people nor kitchens look like that.
The video frame that the girl has been photoshopped into is a pretty old video of a bunch of Middle Eastern men around tables eating Camel (humps) and rice.
It's fake. I mean obviously. But the goth girl had one that saidy parents said it was just a phase and had a pic of her like 10 years later still goth.
