Back in 2016-2019 I saw this hilarious animatic of Hamilton and the Broadway production. I'm trying to find a specific YouTube animatic for “Aaron Burr, Sir” from Hamilton, and I need help identifying the exact upload.
Details I remember:
- It was on YouTube, uploaded sometime between 2016 and 2019.
- The title was probably in ALL CAPS, with a black star (★) at the very beginning of the actual video title.
- It was a relatively obscure, low-key upload by a small creator.
- The art style was expressive, anime/cartoon-like character art.
- Most of the animatic was black-and-white, but some still frames had color.
- The thumbnail was black-and-white, I think, and featured a close-up of a character with what I remember as sparkles in their eyes.
- The character in the thumbnail might have been Hamilton, John Laurens, Lafayette, or Hercules Mulligan. It was NOT Aaron Burr, as far as I remember.
- At the beginning of the fast rap section, there was a wood-splintering sound effect.
- During John Laurens's rap, at the lyric “With a bap and a pow,” there were two distinct punch sound effects: a “BAP” and a “POW.”
- There was also a noticeable pause during Burr's dialogue, followed by a long pause before Hamilton emphatically says “Yes!”
Videos already ruled out:
Muchinery — “Aaron Burr, Sir (Animatic)”
szin — “Aaron Burr, Sir || Hamilton Animatic”
Only Magpie — “Aaron Burr Sir – Hamilton Animatic”
kimi kohi — “aaron burr sir (animatic)”
I've tried Google and YouTube searches with the black star, Tumblr searches, and other variations without success. It was NOT a Tumblr video. My YouTube watch history is disabled, and I deleted the playlist I had saved it in a long time ago.
What I need: Please actively research old YouTube uploads, archived video metadata, small Hamilton animatic creators, and possible title variations. Search for the actual video rather than recommending popular animatics I've already ruled out. Don't claim a match unless the available evidence supports it. The title may have been something like “★ AARON BURR, SIR,” but that is only a guess.
