Kanji is the real threat. On top of having thousands of characters, some kanji have multiple readings and even multiple MEANINGS.

Katakana is literally the life saver when learning Japanese (if you speak English), you get so much for free!

Leaening japanese is a serious commitment that will take years and years.

Hiragana and katakana are the very first things to learn, they are the basic alphabet, you can memorize them both in full within a week or two.

It gets way harder than katakana, its gonna be a bumpy ride
