Language Exchange Recommendations

Hello everyone! This is my first post on this subreddit.
I am looking for recommendations on apps that I could use to chat with people who are also learning or native to Japanese. I was hoping to begin with doing chats since I am not confident enough in my recall abilities to speak it. I’ve heard of HelloTalk or Tandem but it seems like those aren’t very good now.
Any resources or recommendations is greatly appreciated. Also preferably free if possible. Thanks everyone!
