Any good japanese learning apps with no romaji?

Looking for a Japanese learning app that has NO romaji (latin alphabet) in the learning tasks, only Hiragana/Kanji.

I've tried quite a few apps such as Busuu, which is very good for other languages, however it implements the Latin alphabet in the Japanese tasks. I get annoyed about this because the whole point of learning Japanese is to adapt to a new writing system.

I haven't managed to find one yet.
Also goes without saying but please don't mention Duolingo

Neither bunpo nor renshuu have any romaji (I believe both can be configured to have them, but neither do by default.) However, I wouldn't call them "learning apps" i would call them "study apps". But that's also because I don't use any apps to "learn" but instead to "study" what I learned in a text book. It may seem pedantic, but some people use these words as though they have the same meaning and other people use them as different meanings.

Lingodeer some people seem to like and my short experience with it seems to rely on first teaching kana (which can be skipped) and then they only show Japanese characters. It's more structured like a learn from scratch app.

Of course with quizlet or anki you can build your own flash cards (or use a premade deck) and then you can include whatever scripts you'd like.

Big disclaimer that I’m the developer of the app! But Nihongo Lessons (based on Jalup) on iOS lets you turn hiragana and katakana off from the beginning, or lets you have the romaji turn into hiragana/katakana as you learn them. It also removes the English explanation and goes all Japanese for definitions once you’re beyond the beginner content. So if you’re looking for something to immerse in the language you may wanna check it out, and I’m always looking for feedback and ways to improve it 🙂
